MY father in law ended up voting for him even though generally he is a pretty ok guy.

Due to sanewashing and toxic masculinity they basically stripped all issues out of the election and turned it into "white men vs black women"
And more non-white men voted for the rapist than the prosecutor. More white women, by far, voted for the rapist than the prosecutor.
And so here we are.
Support for Trump never should have been normalized. So in that regard the biggest mistake was electing him the FIRST time.
