Id use a Finance Calculator.
Select I/Y because you're looking for the interest rate.
>N = 10
>PV = 50
>PMT = -2
>FV = -100
>And it spits out: I/Y = 10%
The negative numbers are just a function of how finance calculators work. The PV is considered a cash inflow (positive) while the dividends and FV are considered outflows (negative). You could just as easily flip the signs and get the same answer.
If you wanted to run the calculation in your head, you could use the rule of 72. Doubling from 50 to 100 in 10 years implies a interest rate of 7%. Add in the 4% dividend, and you get 11%.
