It went up 17% aftermarket, but my broker is still showing the price as of 4:30 PM Friday. I can estimate the current price, but I'll have to wait until Monday to see that refelcted in my portfolio.

Completely agree. I think the threat of making the Fed a non-independent entity is enough to spook investors. VX also still elevated relative to VIX. Big open interest on the 21 and 25 strikes for VIX July 23 expiration. If you’re bearish and want some targets, look at PM and SPOT. Both sitting at highs and showing quite a bit of weakness. Similar setup to NFLX this week and they both have earnings coming up. Good short targets

Robinhood provides 24/5 trading for a specific list of stocks and ETFs, accessible from 8 PM ET on Sunday to 8 PM ET on Friday. To verify whether or not the specific list includes the fund you're looking for, you'll have to contact Robinhood.

I'm also in NYC and have the option of walking down to the PM dealer and selling a monster box immediately, except I would get below spot (I already asked in person when I brought items in for appraisal), like other people have already discussed, and I most likely will take it, because trying to get some of the premium privately would be fraught with all the issues already mentioned. I'm also looking to sell a box, but I'll wait to at least when the price floor is firm at $40...

Just for comparison sake, look at the national internet firms to see what they charge compared to your LCS, and maybe, it’ll be about the same. I’ve bought most of my PM from my LCS, and I do that all the time.

I have no clue what 6x Margin is. You are only on the hook if Assigned to buy at the strike , nothing more complicated than that. You can also close the stock at the next open so there is no margin involved .
In your Margin account you put up Buying Power , if you have PM it is calculated differently and supposedly you get MORE Buying Power. You are confusing Margin with Buying Power , but most redditors , also are clueless about Buying Power.

I trade 0DTE credit spreads on the SPX (not the AM settled) every trading day. I usually start placing (limit) orders between 9:45-10:00 AM. I trade the mid price by shorting the 10 Δ and placing the long side 2 strikes wide. 2 contracts at a time. I won't make the trade for less than .50 premium. I generally get filled at the mid but will, from time-to-time have to adjust my order when the market is moving away from me. I normally let the position close OTM at 4:00 PM. Will roll the expiration date if challenged.
European (no early assignment), IRC 1256 taxes, expirations every day, Global Trading Hours are all considerations.
Note that minimum tick for SPX options trading below 3.00 is 0.05 ($5.00) and for all other series, 0.10 ($10.00). For complex orders legs may trade in .01 ($1.00) increments, but net package price must be in .05 ($5.00) increments except for Boxes and Box Swaps which are eligible to trade in .01 ($1.00) increments.
Good article (May 31) by Bernard Goyder about ODTE and the hours traders are placing trades. It seems as though BOTS are driving some of the activity. I began by marlking out the session OHLC for Asia, London, NY AM and PM, also marking where each session opened and closed in realtion to each previous session. From this I found the excpected daily OC and HL Range, as well as the expected displacement from NY AM open (NYO). I then looked at the frequency that each situation occured in the 3 years of hourly data that I had access to and played around witrh different conditions with an aim to find some simple conditions that occur regularly and are good indicators of direction of movement from NYO.
In doing so, I found some interesting stuff and have put the higlights in a table here.
When NY opens ABOVE the Daily candle open, there is a 75.4% chance of the daily close being BELOW NYO and vice versa. When NY opens BELOW the Daily candle open, there is a 74.4% chance of the daily close being ABOVE NYO.
Alongside this, if NY opens above asia and London High, there is a 90% chance of a bull day and an 84.9%b chance of upward movement from NYO.
These conditions are easy to assess, can only be truie or false and provide relativly high accuracy when analysing daily bias.
I would love to heard what others think of this, I am absolutely gonna be implementing it in my model.
