This was a massive scam I can't believe GME ever partnered with these fraudsters

KENNY G STRIKES AGAIN — Drops $18.1 M on Lincoln’s 13th Amendment (+ Emancipation Proclamation) after flexing $43.2 M for the Constitution in ’21 👉 Hedgie history-hoarding while $GME chills at $23.59 🇺🇸💎🙌

Swaps expired July 1 → T+2 = July 7 → T+35 = Aug 18 (confirmed via swaps data, FYI terminated swaps may have been taken overseas)
DtC spike on July 6 = pre-settlement unwind + weekend reporting
Aug 22 options may be in play for T+35 forced buy in volatility
No way to know how many GME shares were in the basket but there may be clues... This may be one...
There also were 8 billion cat errors mid June but I didn't see that being related to this.

1. 99% of people here was initially in it for MOASS and for the death of shortsellers and market makers and DTCC.
2. I learned that the real win we can truly claim is RC transformed the business of GameStop and made it entirely bankrupt-proof.
3. The sad truth is, MOASS **in my opinion** will be prevented by WallStreet at all costs.
4. For those who have been here since the beginning, it is painful to experience a large opportunity cost in holding GME for 4+ years as opposed to other potential investments. However, if you’ve been DCA’ing into GME, then investment is more likely to payoff even moreso now. Just not the “MOASS” people were expecting.
4. The silver lining to me is having been awakened to the inner workings of the market, including the fraud and corruption of Wall Street.

While we can call agree that BCG are scum, this is not related to GME.

I mean yeah, it’s an odd metric, based on open short interest divided by average volume.
Say volume halves and short interest doubles, that would 4x it. Which matches OPs claim of being 4-5 not that long ago.
Doubling SI and halving volume are pretty easy with GME as both of those values are very volatile.
Not a nothing burger, but certainly nothing crazy going on.
I really don’t get the metric though, it implies shorts can’t inject volume into the market with price action and flooding the market with shares created from more naked shorting (bc why close when you can double down)

Wait until you understand the GME is actually paying your salary AND the hospital for the burden of teaching out.
So to the hospital you are not only free labor for 80hrs but actually they get paid to work you to the bone.
Anecdotally, I’ve seen a hospital lose a resident and they needed to hire 3 PAs (all making over $120k) to backfill the work the resident was doing.
The problem is… nobody actually cares about the residents salaries. The government doesn’t have money to raise it, the hospitals don’t pay it and they definitely don’t want to change this system, so they sure as heck are gonna stay quiet, and the attendings are happy to get help to reduce their load + they went through it and feel its just part of learning.
It’s a broken system with perverse incentives all the way down.
All duct taped together by “this is a calling and noble work” and “eventually you’ll make a lot”.
But I tell you, that duct tap is getting tested.

GME is a vacuum...hooked to my wallet

Residency is GME funded, you cannot practice without completing a residency. Residency, or post graduate training (PGY-#) is part of the process to become a physician. Attendings are essentially employees at a hospital, just like faculty are employees at a school.
The route to PA is college, PA school. 
Versus a physician: college, med school, intern year, residency (fellowship)… 

Can we not make up acronyms where none are needed?
In GME circles "DTC" has a very specific definition, and it does not need to be confused with another one.

Residents should be able to bill after intern year. I believe it would give residents more bargaining power, and increase revenue for the GME department/hospitals.
