GLD open 305 Monday I make 10x

If you want to bet on dollar weakening you should bet on stable commodities, ie GLD or GLDM.

Gold will never produce the best returns but it keeps you safe. Easy for me to say that because i bought GLD right around inauguration day

If we don’t get a 🥭 tweet this weekend my GLD 293 calls are gonna save my month.

Rotating my port into GLD BERK.B and UNH leaps Monday, we’re due for a pullback either way even if the bull run is still on

Calls on BERK.B and GLD are the play probably, might see a leg down before we continue to glide up. Been needing a pullback after this run anyways.

Personally I’m not very sophisticated. Generally if the market is getting “too hot” in my opinion I start taking small positions against the market. Generally 4-12 months out. I’ve made decent money off AAPL shorts somehow. Whenever it gets to a new ATH or really high compared to last bit I buy a few puts 5%-10% otm and it generally pays out a decent return most times.
Another strategy I use is when I am bullish a stock/commodity and think it will have potential for quick movement I will buy calls and then continually roll up. Do this with GLD last 18 months for example. Before that did it with oil and gas companies I really wanted to earn but didn’t have the money to buy it yet.

Gold ETF and ETR holders are for people who want exposure to the price and NOT necessarily the actual custodial physical ownership.
They may not even understand that they don't 'own' the metal when having the paper digital claim on a investing platform screen.
I owned physical gold at one time, but I lost it all in a boating accident, and I own, still do, have ETRs in the Royal Canadian Mint's gold product MNT on the TSE.
Like a 401K for Americans, in Canada we have RRSPs that are registered investments and they're not many options for holding gold outside of GLD, KILO, MNT and Sprott, BMG Group funds.

Now your money is worth even less, dollar tanking monday. Buy GLD and BTC

I've been DCA gold for the past month, the way I see it, there's no way GLD will ever be a falling knife and GLD is best during uncertainty and a failing usd.
And we all know Agent Orange is the king of volatility and is in a mission to turn the usd into rubles.

They will do better without those, those funds should own Stocks, other bonds , GLD, and BTC

Better yet homie, buy GLD calls

I know you’re probably trolling because none of these align with your stated goal of investing responsibly with low risk.
But if you’re not I’ll just say GLD is fine as a hedge but should not be a main holding. SCHG is concentrated in growth stocks, so it is less diversified and so carries more risk. AVUV is even riskier, focusing on a specific market segment and suited for those willing to take on higher risk for potentially higher returns.
If your goal is responsible low risk investing you should keep each of these under 5% of your portfolio.

Bought some GLD at $310 as a little hedge that has been a thorn on my side. Missed a few sell opportunities because I never believed the market would really to this extent -_-

GLD pissing me off… how tf is it climbing with SPY -.-

Guess who bought a SPY call at 594 to hedge further downside against my two SPY puts that were hedged against my NVIDIA calls that didn’t move so I could protect my GLD calls that are protecting my UNH leaps against a recession and further downside and to compensate for my UNH puts short term and to further protect my COIN calls against the COIN puts inevitable printing after it drops on Monday, guess who!?????

Yea loading up GLD but who know until wen market remains regarded
