Yes Critical Illness. Life insurance kasi is for someone na maiiwan mo, not for you or dun sa owner (sa pagkakaintindi ko) not an FA, by the way. Although sa life insurance may mga payout if for example disabilities or etc etc.
For CI, covered ka for wide range ng sakit and mga bagong sakit na pwde mdiscover. For example covid wala nmn ngeexpect nun e. So it basically protects you and your family sa possibleng gastos sa ospital.
Regarding sa tanong mo VUL with CI coverage, it really depends sa plan. Di ko masagot kasi di nmn ako FA, but for me and my partner mas pinili namin un CI when we asked our FA and our goal is more on protection for ourselves. Siguro ask your FA kung ano difference nun CI whole life, vs life with CI rider, in terms of coverage, and payment terms and investment benefit na din.
Understandable na ppwde wlaa pa tayo nararamdaman or history pero di din tlga ntn mssbi e, kaya we decided to get CI.

CI is critical Illness insurance? Our pru agent also offered this. Aside sa diabetes and hypertension wala na kaming history ni hubby sa both sides mas worth it po ba to kesa sa VUL with Critical Illness coverage?

Life insurance VUL is not for you, better to check CI. Me and my partner decided to get CI insurance whole life for ourselves para protected.
Insurance is good, pero don't see it as investment that you can use for other purposes.
I suggest for tge following:
1. Emergency fund first (Liquid) saved at HYSA High Yield Savings Account. Like digital banks. EF must last minimum 6 months for both of you or for the whole family.
2. Investment, can start by simple investment, like sa gcash meron sila mga investment services na inooffer, or you can directly invest in PSEi stock market register ka lang sa broker(but you have to do your own research when it comes buying stocks) di lageng happy life dito.
3. If yoy are confident enough, can go to US stock investing mas liquid market and mas mabilis galawan.
4. Can do business, pero need tutukan. You can franchise a small food cart to try it out ng di nasasacrifice ipon nyo.
5. Or can go buy a farm land and make it self sustainable, in case mawalan kayo work meron kayo fallback lage and di kayo magaalalla wala kakainin. If hnd nmn ngamit pwde ibenta un mga produce or if d mhandle tlga pwde ibenta un lupa.

Hey all - I often use compounding interest calculators to get a sense of my possible retirement trajectory, but till now have been using 7-7.5% as the return rate. I thought this was thought of as standard, even slightly conservative, but I have seen a few videos recently where they say you should really use more like 5-6% to better predict against inflation, and just in general.
I thought 7ish was considered a reasonable expectation after taxes on gains, but have I been overestimating it?
I've run the same possibilities now at 5.5% and, obviously, feeling less optimistic.
I realized CI Calculators are not at all an exact science anyway, but as a general framework I do like them.
For those who use them or similar forecasting methods, what rate do you go by?

I will be bag holding the following beaten down stocks for a long time starting from today:
Elevance Health (ELV)
United Health (UNH)
Centene (CNC)
Cigna (CI)
I will likely DCA down to 0 if I have to . Any other willing bag holders for the long term ?

I am in CI, which is a more pure PBM play over those two which is more managed healthcare, correct?
Either way, healthcare industry, especially healthcare providers, are under immense pressure. Declining margins are killing them. Plus, a bipartisan government that is against the 'big players' does not help them.
It is impossible to gauge how this will end IMO. Obviously, they aren't going away...but will they drift into the sunset and their portion of the market shrink in favor of these personalized healthcare companies, dunno.

for wealth building phase, it's better to take term insurance with CI and no other riders. +HMO. tig 12k siguro yan each, so youll shell out 24k yearly for health protection.
ps...dont overutilize HMO, they will drop you.

And what exactly is your question? Regarding the CI or the Financial part?
Second you already answered yourself since you work in finance yourself.
The first one is a bit tricky because the devil is in the details. Short answer: If it's just "inspired" by the show then there is no issue. If it's a complete "copykat" then it's an issue.
There was already a court case in Germany between Netflix and "Haus des Döners". They settled out of court and sligthly altered their Name/CI to "Das Haus des Döners" which seems fine now. Since this Billboard is using "Das Haus des Kredits" it seems that they are aware of the rules.
