(1) ORCL missed estimates and the guide was underwhelming. Management was also cagey about financing but to be fair it was their new CEOs first call. Ultimately, the company still has a huge opportunity to be an ai-hyperscaler. A key factor in their guidance was delays at one of their TX data centers. The project was noted as completed (co building it posted on LinkedIn), but checks suggested phase 1 was not fully online. CoreWeave and MSFT have discussed delays before and they tend to be “a few weeks” to “90 days”, hence the push out 1qtr. What this means though is that q4 earnings season could see a big rerating higher *if* supply constraints ease. So pay attention to news re: buildouts and energy.
(2) AVGOs earnings were solid but Hock Tan guided to $73bn over 18 months which was just about in-line with consensus. Market was expecting more juicy incrementals and visibility about TPU/XPU demand after the Google + Anthropic deal. We’re still quite early to the Broadcom story (27-28), but I think they’re likely going to take bigger share of the AI accelerator market (it’ll be barbelled between NVDA and AVGO imo).
Near-term, there have been positive incrementals but the market has largely dismissed them. That’s because data center delays are a limiting factor to OAI revenues — so a buildout delay is also a negative revision to OAI revenue potential at a period in time. On a six month view, I’d say it’s decent environment to buy, especially in neoclouds. T

I think it's bear trap. Narration ai is a bubble and gold is the play resonates in retail
They all forgot GOOG, MSFT, amzn make shitton of cash and beat earnings strongly which keeps Nvidia valuable and Nvidia invest those profits in other ai companies like coreweave keeping it safe in such times
All in all I think it's all bait, ai is getting better and there's no guillotine over core companies as they have stable income. Never listen to what people spam on socials and what your taxi driver says.

AI stocks pulled back because Broadcom and Oracle earnings showed they're burning too much cash with compressed profit margins. The market is waking up - revenue growth alone isn't enough, you need to show profits.

My holdings MSFT, NVDA, AMD, GOOGL, META all dropped 1-5% on Friday, but they're still up 15-34% for the year. This pullback is just giving you a chance to add positions.

The Fed cut rates by 25 basis points on December 10th, bringing it to 3.5-3.75%. But they'll probably only cut once next year. Why? Inflation is still at 2.8%, unemployment is only 4.4% - the economy isn't that bad.

My strategy is simple:

Buy the dip in batches, don't go all-in
VIX Call Ratio Backspread
Sell covered calls - most profitable when volatility is high
Hold core positions, don't get shaken out by short-term moves
This AI wave is just getting started - this is a shakeout, not a collapse. Remember, money is made during panic.

The Santa Rally still has potential - historically 79% probability of gaining 1.3%. But with this year's tech rotation into value stocks, gains might be smaller.

Those who get it, get it. Those who don't can just watch from the sidelines.

How AI can be bubble. My dear friends, it has already entered in our life. I am using it and now ready to pay for it.
Enjoy AI. Take risk in any stock on the basis of its earnings growth & fundamentals.
MU, TSLA, AVGO, LRCX, META, GOOGLE, MSFT, ORCL etc are big companies. These companies financials fundamentals are very strong and expenses on AI doesn't have much impact. AI is going in right direction, as per my opinion.

ORCL is a terrible stock. There are much better stocks out there. I would rather buy GOOG, MSFT, AMZN and NVDA.

November was a slow month for dividends. December should be much better according to pay date calendar.
Have always had a pretty meaningful position in MSFT although it is not a high yield stock. JNJ and PFE was added a couple months ago. I was aware of the 6.7% dividend by Pfizer but when the dividend hit the account was still pleasantly surprised.
Recently bought a big basket of oil and energy stocks, it’s been nice to receive dividends there. Also bought some transportation stocks and steel stocks and SLX, should be receiving good dividends from them soon.
Btw I am using monarch money app here it is very easy to see all the dividends coming in using the dividend tracker.

Your monthly buys have heavy overlap with concentration of large cap stocks in the US. NVIDIA and MSFT make up close to 20% of the weight of QQQ. QQQ Makes up around 40-50% of the weight of VTI. You essentially are buying the same thing just with different weights. Overlap isn’t necessarily bad but QQQ holds a higher expense ratio than VTI.

Exactly. Shit is all messed up. Even the headlines. Last week about MSFT, then MSFT comes out an hour later saying thats not true. Or today with Orcl, saying that there was delays in the data centers to 2028, then Orcl comes out to clarify saying thats not true. All the headlines are BS. Even the QE, Rate cuts, 40b Liquidity, etc. ALL bullshit. They are just moving the market however they want. Good news or bad news, the market just moves irrationally.
Look at Tesla for example. Its just been horrible news for the last few months, yet its performing pretty well since October meanwhile NVDA has had only good news and earnings and its down almost 17% since the 210 highs of October. Shit makes no sense.

More volatility up ahead next week with the deadline for the Epstein file release December 19. Then there's the whole tariff rulings which i have no idea when it'll be.

I have about 90% of portfolio into it and I was early in this, now could it see some correction even from here? Sure. The again, stock has been consolidating in the 40s for about a month now. But you have to trust in the overall thesis and past few weeks is just bearish around AI in general and NVDA taking a hit does not help, but nothing fundamentally changed drastically, they still have 3GW in the pipeline, a MSFT contract and Sweetwater on the way. I am bullish and will be adding here and there, will be monitoring the progress next earnings and go from there.

I've been "in the game" since about 2006, but seriously investing since around 2017. I "traded" a little in the beginning but never had enough to actually invest cause I always needed the $ for living expenses. When I moved to America in 2013 I started again with the goal of buying and selling when hitting 20% because that was someone else's strategy. I owned TSLA, NVDA, MSFT, GOOG and many others and sold them all for small profits. These days I buy when I have surplus funds and rarely sell. I have changed thesis on very few stocks I've bought since 2017, hence I haven't sold.

Why do people think this is important? People get stuff mixed up.
Entry: You enter a trade on a hypothesis. MSFT goes to 500 because of... (enter what every trading reasons you want. For some its ICT for other its fundamental analysis.
Exit: You either see you hypothesis become reality or you see it does not hold up anymore. Like oh shit MSFT or its partners are not capable of producing a competitive AI anymore.
No one with a serious edge will ever talk about risk reward ratio. You need reasons to act no ratios

ORCL is simply a bad investment IMO for one simple reason, it's not predictable.
AMZN, MSFT, and even GOOGL have much more predictable Cloud growth because they aren't dependent on a few super big customers, and large numbers of people consistently choose their cloud services.
ORCL by contrast is simply a gamble with HIGHLY unpredictable growth, and an extreme over-dependence on a few key clients like OpenAI for much of their growth. You might get lucky some of the times if you time your buys into these unpredictable stocks well. But you're likely to do much better long term if you dollar cost average into a company that consistently grows by a predictable amount like AMZN/MSFT/GOOGL.
Also to be frank, I have zero confidence in Oracle's leadership due to their java lawsuit against Google. The lawsuit makes it quite clear to me that Oracle would rather litigate than innovate, which is a very bad thing for a tech company in a sector where innovation is especially important. Oracle's lawsuit would have had MASSIVE negative side effects on the entire tech industry if they had won. Basically the entire tech industry, even including Google's arch enemies, filed briefs siding with Google that explained just how insane Oracle's arguments were, and just how badly it would screw up the whole tech industry and open source software if the courts sided with Oracle.
