Selling CC INTC $19 AUG 15 gives you $55 per which on average results in 26.4%/year.
If by some travesty the stock drops 15% then roll down and out for credit above the cost of interest.
Same can be done for many stocks. GOOG $155 AUG 01 is 24.5%/year for example. All you're doing is collecting premium with 15% downside protection on companies you don't mind owning anyway.
If one's goal is 25% then that can be done with manageable risk, but 30% is pretty much where it caps.

Offhand, I'd sell TSMC and buy INTC (I'll probably buy some anyways).

Fair. But then let’s ask how many of those smart people who use $INTC in their day to day lives or at work.
Now ask about $AMD.
There is a reason $INTC went to $17. Which is very different than why $AMAT went to $115. $AMAT is back at $190 and $INTC… oh, it hit $24…wow!

It was a genuine question, I wasn't on here at the time. I know people don't like the CEO, haven't kept up with INTC much outside of that. I'm in NVDA and AMD

Is the ONLY reason to NOW start looking at INTC as an investment AFTER his next two earnings calls, NOT before..
So you already are not understand how NVDA is still a better play than INTC and has been for the past 5 years....
At extremely the best IBTC is a slow creep upward BECAUSE of the grants and bailouts and now has some true and intelligent leadership, but would bet youre entire company on Intel or Nvda??
Think about it....

That you should have invested in $NVDA, $TSM, $AMD, hell even $AMAT about the time $INTC was $40ish back in 2023?

I bought INTC because of Tan Lip Bu. Risk is that it will trade sideways for long time.

INTC stay away.
ASML is prob decent.
We're past the early stages and heading towards inflection, so don't expect any worthwhile name to be cheap.

Honestly since everybody on here is bearish about INTC, I seriously think it could be a good leaps play. ChatGPT seems to think so also.

I got in at 20.89. Still say INTC is a solid long term…maybe one of the biggest bargains at the moment.
