I'm solid on dollar, gold needs to consolidate, hard to tell what industries will do best shortterm but avoid RE and HC--all HC due to crackdown HC corruption--multiple DOJ suits. RE overleveraged w declining value product.
Consider carefully Goog and FB due to DOJ suits--hard to say how much will affect value.

It also just doesn't seem like they have serious competitors. I realize consumers are fickle, but if FB can keep people showing up this long with their brand, then anyone can...

I was buying FB when it was low. Multiple purchases over several months. People were insane to sell it. It's a cyclical stock in sync with economy (ads). You buy it during economic downturn or scandals.

Sorry for this OP. The property market, esp in Metro Manila, looks depressing these days. Sa FB, kaliwat kanan ang nagpapasalo, ung iba dp stage pa lang, ung iba naka mortgage na or paid in cash. Kaya expect na matagal pa talaga to mabebenta, unless ibaba mo ung price.
Have you considered having it rented for the time being? Para kahit papano may nagbabayad ng assoc dues / rpt and maka help sa mga dues mo.

Yeah it’s a great call when FB was 100. I had doubts on FB as well. Also heard another investor saying having bought FB at 90, and never bet against Mark Zuckerberg. That comment stroke me. But sadly I didn’t buy FB. What an omission and lesson for me!

If it were me, I'd just move on with my life. Small price to pay for invaluable experience. These types of people almost never progress in life. I could almost guarantee that when you check up on her FB profile after 5 years, she will still be in the same exact spot, grifting her co-workers and posting sob stories on Facebook. Then you can consider the debt has been paid.

Don't overthink it. Just buy and sell. Put it up online on Instagram, Carousell and FB Marketplace.

Go on FB marketplace and outbid a bunch of lazy stay at home moms.
