Super easy. You don’t even need to touch a CEX.
Go to jup.ag
Swap USDC, USDT, SOL, whatever you’ve got for zBTC
Done. It’s an SPL token so it lives in your Solana wallet like any other asset.
If you want to add it to a liquidity pool:
Head over to Meteora (they’ve got active zBTC pairs)
Connect your wallet, choose the zBTC pool you want, and deposit your zBTC + paired token (like USDC or SOL)
Start earning LP fees

A good case could be made for the opposite actually.
Solana's price spiked up to roughly $200 back when there was barely anyone using pump.fun and had been rallying for months straight.prior to that...
Then pump.fun became popular and SOL's price has bounced around but literally never meaningfully surpassed that price point until the frickin president of the United States launched a memecoin.

1) If you’re trading PumpFun, BonkFun etc. tokens that have not bonded yet, the launchpad takes a 1% fee per transaction, so both buys and sells. Tokens launched on Believe launchpad have a 2% transaction fee if I’m not mistaken
2) Trading platforms like Axiom, BullX, Photon etc. all charge their own fees too. They start at 1% per transaction most of the time. Some platforms like Axiom gives you a percentage of this fee back depending on your total trading amount
3) Solana transaction fees and bribes/MEV protection are user customizable on every platform I can think of so can’t comment on that, check your settings
4) Potential slippage and/or MEVs can cause the amount received to be lower than expected, slippage tolerance (and bribes like said in 3) are also user customizable. Price impacts are calculated ahead most of the time.
5) If the token was not launched directly on a launchpad it can have transfer fees enabled, check the SolScan of the token if you have any doubts as if it’s enabled you’ll see the % there
6) Liquidity pools take a % aswell. This applies to bonded tokens and also tokens that have not been minted on a launchpad but have an LP somewhere. PumpSwap charges 0.25%, Raydium varies between 0.01% and 4% depending on the pooltype
7) Jupiter is an aggregator and does not take additional fees on swaps aside from any LP/launchpad/transfer fee, though some JupiterZ routes do charge a percentage, this is viewable if you click on proposed route to use for the swap
Example: You’ve bought 1 SOL worth of a PumpFun token through BullX and sell it before bonding. Your transaction fees are set at 0.001 and bribe at 0.01 SOL. You would effectively pay 2% PumpFun fees, 2% BullX fees and 0.022 SOL on Solana transactions fee and bribes. You’d need 1.066 SOL to break even.
Another example: You swap 1 SOL to RAY on Jupiter. Jupiter looks for the most efficient route and decides that swapping through the Raydium LP would be the cheapest. You pay 0.25% to the Raydium LP and 0% to Jupiter, and some minor transaction/priority fee like 0.001 SOL.

It's funny they can say that with a serious face as multiple entities across the globe are building Solana clients. Same with Ethereum.
The world needs publicly managed equity that taps into the revenue of of web3. Right now we've got SOL (Solana) and HYPE) Hyperliquid competing with centralized equity like HOOD (Robinhood )and COIN (Coinbase). We had Ethereum but then Coinbase moved in to take Ethereum staker's revenue by Ethereum not scaling and Coinbase moving all of Ethereum's users to Base.
There's nothing scammy about this. Either decentralized platforms win or we concede that the majority of future trading revenue and asset issuance stays with corporate entities like Coinbase (Very unlikely as this brings only downside to traders and issuers). Hope this isn't the case. A lot of us started with the vision to capture that control and $$$ from those middlemen.

I can't see anyone overtaking Solana in terms of transactions or user adoption any time soon. Other ecosystems would have to take a leaf out of Solana's book and focus on apps people want to use.
To date no one seems to have picked up on the fact that this whole crypto thing is one giant startup, and startups need to scale with users: Not TVL.
\- Ethereum (and her sprawling L2 eco) is obsessed with building infra that only ever is there to farm, not actually use legitimately.
\- Bitcoin has given up on the blockchain as technology and now seems to be a ponzi-like death cult (Never sell your BTC!!!... apps? no one wants to actually use BTC! Hahaha!). Even the scaling solutions have caught the brain disease with no use case emerging on any of them (yet...) aside from being yet-another-place to buy and hold BTC.
\- Sui/Aptos/Avalanche/Sonic/Core etc... all are grant/vc and airdrop farming. Basically you have "developers" getting money to copy paste some basic defi app, people farming those for airdrops, and everyone selling up once it's done to move onto the next cash grab. Polkadot is a poster child for how this ultimately ends up. Also see Near's massive spend (grants, hackathons, events) for a defi eco that is, after years of "building", less than what's on a brand new L2 on Ethereum. Hence why Near has completely pivoted away from apps to being an AI infra layer.
If you're looking to hold SOL as the base exposure to this I'd hold in LSTs over natively staking. Gives you a bit more flexibility if you want to do a bit more with it (e.g., lend/borrow, LP etc..).
jitoSOL and mSOL are two largest players in this space.
I like Sanctum personally as the place to learn about LSTs. It's kinda THE LST marketplace on Solana right now.

Nah, „alt season“ was fueled by covid. IMO it’s a big myth to extract more money from the people that are exit liquidity. The trench kids don’t move the market. They made their money in SOL and in SOL it will stay. Trenches can make you insane money but you need decent money or a huge paper trading resolve to practice.

Your Post Has Been REMOVED Because:
1 - Promoting of Telegram groups, Discord servers, NFT projects, token sales, IDOs, referral links, meme coins etc ... is NOT permitted on r/solana, therefore your post has been REMOVED.
2 - If you want to ASK or TALK about Alpha Groups, NFTs, meme coins, promoting your referral links ... there are other subreddits "Unaffiliated With Solana" dedicated to NFTs or Meme Coins like r/SolCoins or r/SolanaMemeCoins (Use Them At Your Own Risk).
3 - Your post is NOT RELEVANT to the Solana Subreddit. If you are posting about a broader Web3 topic, then another crypto subreddit is suitable.
4 - A DUPLICATE of a link or post that already exists.
5 - Begging for Cryptos or SOL to cover transaction fees.
Thank You For Understanding.

I personally dont have a lot of experience with trading new pairs on dexs, but ive watched people with thousands of SOL just apeing into new pairs to try and stack their SOL. There seems to be a ton of these crypto bros and groups doing this and what surprises me most is these guys are young with hundreds of thousands just gambling on these new pairs.
I cant help but to think this is where alt season went, if this wasnt a thing, or not as popular, they would all be in alts, but instead they are trading thousands upon thousands in seconds on new pairs. Were shut coins thus popular during the last alt season?

My portfolio is 60% BTC, 30% SOL, and 10% Jasmy. I understand where Bitcoin is headed, but the fall of fiat will take a very long time. So my plan is to reach 15 SOL and have it all staked so I can earn 1 SOL YoY in passive income. But every BTC maxi will have my head because I'm not 100% in.

There’s a lot of noise and FUD in the space right now.
Do your own reseach but it could be a great chance to invest at this current price.
So let’s clear something up:
$ETH isn’t Ethereum
$SOL isn’t Solana
$WHITENET isn’t WhiteRock
They’re gas tokens the fuel that keeps everything running.
And when a chain scales, gas becomes gold.
We’ve seen it with $ETH. Then $SOL.
Now it might be $WHITENET’s turn.
What is $WHITENET?
It’s the native gas token for the WhiteRock Layer 1
Every single transaction on the chain uses it
Without gas, nothing moves that’s why it matters
If you believe in the chain, you look at what powers it.
Why people are watching $WHITENET:
Built to tokenize real-world assets (RWAs)
Institutional partners already confirmed
Visa integration for real-time B2B settlement
Built on a custom Layer 1 not just another L2
Claimed 200,000 TPS with near-instant finality
Raised over $50M without hype or influencer noise
And just imagine if that TPS is real.
Even if they deliver half, $WHITENET could explode in demand as the chain grows.
The network is nearly complete. Conversion is live.
Check the official Whiterock X (Twitter) for news or converting site
What do you think about this hole project?

I would slowly dollar cost average the biggest coins on Robinhood or Coinbase. Reliable all around. Maybe like $50-200 a month. Go into BTC ETH and SOL.
I’d also get a weekly newsletter to just keep up with the biggest highlights in the market. This one is good https://the-vester-pulse.beehiiv.com/subscribe

They can because they are bigger than the dev, this is why CTOs work. This one is born as a CTO apparently, the dev doesn't seem to have any control other than the 4% bought on launch.
$SOL is probably for search visibility

I agree that community and execution matters, they are the backbone of any project. I just don't see how the community could stop a shady dev. Also, why did they go with $SOL as the ticker? Seems like a way to confuse folks.

It’s legit but it’s not a full exchange. It’s a trading platform on Solana where you can create, buy and trade sol tokens MADE ON PUMP.FUN Only. You can’t store or trade any other crypto but SOL and you can’t send or receive any tokens to or from other people.
