Oh ok, so you've tried to send ETH to a bridge and receive WETH in return on Polygon? To the same address?
Looking at the tx you provided, it is the otherway round, your polygon wallet sent 0.0451 WETH to a smart contract in June 2021, near that time frame, but hours after, you address on Ethereum received 0.0451 ETH from a bridge.
It doesnt look like anything got stuck, but its gone in the opposite direction to what you believe happened.

I sold my ETH yesterday. I got a decent 64% increase from when I bought 1 month ago. Well, I only sold whatever my investment was. So I still have my ETH profit in ETH. And I'm now investing the initial amount into something less volatile.

It looks to me that your address has called the bridges "withdraw" function (your address to the contract address)
Then your address has received 0.04514 ETH as an "internal transaction" from the smart contract.
The "in" wont appear in transfers on etherscan, but in internal transactions.

You needed 32 ETH to stake before the update, now the minimum is 2048 ETH. Unless you're an institution, you can't hold that many ETH. Which means only a very few groups will be able to stake ETH and centralising the project more than ever before.
POW is to secure the network, it's only as expensive as you are willing to invest... Investments you'll most likely make from selling parts of your earning, and the electricity problem is as silly as the Quantum question...
