All DOGE did was end investigations into Musk’s companies, gave him access to personal data for his own benefit, and shut down vital systems that helped people around the world. Reading your comments is like if Musk had an alt account. I will never understand why people are such sycophants and apologists for billionaires. They are not good people. They do nothing good for the economy or our country.

Oh shit sorry! But wait… you said DOGE (a corrupt, illegal, disingenuous, narrative distracting propaganda agency run by a nazi) was necessary and ISN’T evil? 😂
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
You’ve taken a side with your ignorance.

You are correct. They didn't accomplish what they set out to do. And Musk even said "I cannot fix the US Government" in a recent podcast. The cuts necessary to hit the target were never going to be approved. It was a fools errand to do DOGE but that doesn't mean it wasn't something the government needed.

DOGE was a data grab. It never came close to hitting its target savings of $160B (only $62B documented) but it was allowed access to US citizen data like social security which was one of the real goals IMO.

Are you talking about the DOGE work? DOGE wasn't evil, it was necessary because our government is broke. The US government is broke...worse than broke...it's broke and still spending money.
If you think the work that DOGE did was bad, just wait 5 more years to see what happens to our taxes. You'll see that the delayed taxation of 401ks ends up being a huge revenue source for the US Gov't because our tax rates are going to skyrocket...

Well, yeah. Crypto is stupid volatile.
I do have some crypto to diversify, but mostly for fun. I mined a bunch of DOGE way back when and have been sitting on it for well over a decade. I could cash out for nice profit today if I wanted. I'm content to let it ride and watch the roller coaster. It would have to drop to 2013 prices for me to regret not selling or to worry. I don't see that happening. Even if it did, I mined it when it was worthless and stupid easy to mine.
I've bought some other crypto, but if it evaporated I'd only be out a few hundred. I'm mostly into silver and stocks.

I remember the young college kid on reddit who went all in on DOGE back in early Feb. while some shyster was pushing a breakout point leading to $2-3 soon.
Maybe in a few years it recovers, but it's been all downhill since. That would be brutal.

DOGE basically cost the government an estimated $21 billion. Taxpayer loss due to cuts in programs and services is estimated at $125 billion. Predicted lost revenue is predicted to be $500 billion.
But Musk got all the investigations into his companies and any penalties canceled, so it’s another trump win!
