Does DOGE have a community outside of Reddit?
The activity in this sub has gone 90% down since the 2021 heydays I feel

Well, we wouldn't want to pop up on DOGE's radar while executing yet another executive order by buying the high-quality more expensive good stuff now, would we?

We deserve it. I was pretty annoyed during Trump's first term when they got control of house, senate, and president and didn't balance the budget like they were claiming they wanted to do for decades. Didn't even pretend to cut spending in the least bit.
Now Trump is claiming he's trying to do something with DOGE, but Congress is the one that should be fixing the fiscal policy, and once again they have the power and aren't doing it.

The market can stay irrational for longer than you can stay solvent.
And honestly, I think we're at the BEGINNING of a cycle rather than its end. We just came out of the COVID pandemic lockdown years not too long ago and the markets are just heating up.
The Fed Funds rate has a lot of room to decrease, and Powell will be out in a year - meaning Trump will be able to select someone with a much more liberal monetary policy. The US federal government has a historically high deficit, outside of the COVID pandemic lockdown years this deficit is unheard of since WW2. Elon Musk's DOGE failed to meaningfully cut federal spending, Trump and the Republicans are proposing tax cuts, and these two things together means they will be blowing up the deficit even more. And if these tax cuts primarily benefit the rich, as expected, that'll mean more money flowing into assets and further asset price inflation.
In Europe, there's a similar situation: the EU just gave member states the green light to increase deficit spending for military purposes, Germany (the strongest economy in Europe and the third strongest economy in the world) announced massive infrastructure and military spending plans, along with plans to ease their debt limit. And not just Germany is spending more - many other countries in the EU are as well (e.g. Poland, where I'm from - record spending and deficits, central bank has plenty of room to cut rates, the PM is talking about deregulation and the Finance Minister is talking about cutting capital gains taxes). And while interest rates are already quite low in the EMU, they still have plenty of room to go down - plus increased European centralization could mean new central EU government borrow-and-spending programs in the near future. Even in the UK (outside the EU), budget deficits are up to 5.3% of GDP (increased from 4.8% the previous year) and the Bank of England has plenty of room to cut rates.
I don't know much about the situation outside of Europe and America, but it looks like these major economies are hitting the gas HARD and we should expect robust growth. The only bumps along the road could be the Trump tariffs - but that's just a bump in the road, compared to the massive de facto stimulus deficit spending that's happening now.

I’m still waiting for the class action suit attacking Elon for ruining the image of Tesla through his personal actions.
It is fair to say that his seig heils at the inauguration alienated many potential purchasers, particularly in Europe. In the US his DOGE blunders probably had a bigger impact. Either way, Tesla has been the victim of the public backlash.

DOGE wasn't cutting any of the big expenses. They focused on cutting employees which is like 1% of the entire federal budget. And since they didn't do any research or analysis before making cuts they often cut people and programs that were cash positive to the federal government.
They'd also cancel contacts that were in progress so the government spent all this money and never got what they were buying.

Let’s just say it was less than 13M DOGE and more than what you spent on that comment. 😉

So... in a sense, DOGE was the right move all along. If anything, it didn't go far enough.

DOGE was NEVER about finding waste, fraud or abuse. fElon Musk wanted access to all of the private data that the government has on its citizens, and now he has it. Information is money and the amount of data the government has on us is worth billions.

They haven't been able to prove the "savings" from DOGE that was to be used for wealthy tax cuts, so they are going to borrow it and the PR will still be DOGE savings.

We won't see a real adult conversation about meaningfully cutting spending (and not the "cut what we don't like" with DOGE) and maybe raising taxes until the debt causes the bond market to break and hit the economy.
And from what we've seen, this in bonds isn't enough, although I suppose you can say running big deficits helps.
