Not high enough though. The block reward halves every four years while inflation keeps rising. Miners’ bills don’t shrink - energy, hardware, maintenance, and infrastructure all get more expensive.
Back in 2021 the reward was 6.25 BTC and the ATH was around $69k. Even if you simply doubled the price to account for the halving, you’d expect something like $138k. But BTC never came close.
That means miners are getting squeezed harder each cycle. And without miners, Bitcoin’s security model breaks down. If $126k was the cycle top, that’s a flashing warning sign for Bitcoin’s long-term sustainability.

I bought some shares of IREN. I like that they mine BTC but don’t hold any. They sell it to the bitcoin bros as soon as it’s mined and let those suckers fund their AI infrastructure build. 40k per coin mining cost on average.
I’m not convinced the AI bubble is popped. Infrastructure for rent is still gonna be a hot item. I think a bit of good news and all three are gonna rip upward and destroy your puts.

I predict BTC will decline roughly 70-80% I'm 2026...
Am I a genius when it does? No.
Because it's year four of the four year cycle, and that's what it does... And has done for the last three 4 year cycles.

No thanks. If I wanted BTC, I'd buy BTC. I prefer GME warrants

If you are on coinbase mobile, there has been a sweepstakes for 2 BTC that started on 11/1/2025 and ends tonight on 11/29/2025. Every trade you make gets you 1 entry, you can get up to 10 entries.
You have to opt in first, then each trade after will give you entries. I have made plenty of trades but have received 0 entries.
If you only trade on Coinbase on a desktop or laptop, you won’t see the sweepstakes.

Does it matter if BTC goes up or down relative to the dollar?
When you see that the dollar is systemically debased and there’s no other option but inflationary movement without a recession, moving to a currency that cannot be printed in the same way will always ultimately win out. It’s like buying gold as currency, but people and businesses can actually accept it as legal tender. It’s scarce, and the only losers in the equation are the people who need to devalue your wealth to reduce their debt.
I’ve stopped thinking of it as a commodity to be traded, but rather a currency I’m transitioning to that’s less subject to manipulation, even though I know it too is being manipulated.

The whole yearly candle is relatively flat and is red, the past 12 months was already the bear market just that nobody never noticed, especially in an opportunity cost wise the correction was even bigger than just a nominal decrease, what i mean by that is, literally everything else pumped massively, BTC is the biggest underperformed not even going into alts.
Even a basic treasury bill is outperforming BTC and people are calling this "we've been in the bull and now we will enter bear just now, the 4y cycle ended" but ask yourself if BTC was outperformed by literally everything else, were we really in a bull market or a bear market?

Why do you think this is?
If BTC is here to solve a problem that does not benefit the 1% - why do you think the 1% would support it?
You know the 1% control mass media (effectively all media you see) / governments / the financial system right? And they bring in billions of dollars on the backs of your effort, whilst doing nothing themselves.
So you were expecting things like mass media to advocate BTC? Companies which are controlled by governments to add BTC payment options quickly?
BTC adoption was always going to be slow. Because it solely reliant on individuals becoming educated about the topic / individuals spreading correct information to help educate others. And that is happening without support from mainstream media for the exact reasons mentioned above.
If you take the time to understand how the current broken financial system works / is being used to control them and effectively steal your savings - then you will be encouraged to jump on board / educate yourself and become a person who helps educate others

76-80% of the upside will be in the form of distributions that are capital gains and not ROC. You will capture them, but it won’t reflect on the stock price itself. When you have a BTC run up like that, the whole point is to hold onto the asset.

Another day, another $1.75 Billion in short-pressure overcome by buying pressure to keep BTC's price flat. The longer this keeps up and market-sentiment continues to improve, the bigger the powder keg when the shorts finally can't keep up the pace.

I even saw someone claim that ADA is 2000x less scarce than bitcoin because it's 45B instead of 21M, as if that wasn't just a unit conversion away (in contrast, there's only 45M megaADA, vs 21B milliBTC). The only unit-wise thing that matter is the multiplication of the supply of the unit coins and the number of minimum units in the unit coin, which gives you the total divisibility of the supply. And in that regard, Cardano is 22 times more divisible as 45B ADA times 1M lovelace/ADA is 22 times more than 21M BTC times 100M sats/BTC. With les than 10 sats starting to cost a cent at the recent ATH, bitcoin might be about to hit a divisibility wall that only a hard fork could fix.

Yes, the average newbie generally starts off with a Cex then graduates to a Dex. Ultimately it depends what you want to do.  Hodl BTC? You can even buy the ETF.  For yield, Dex is needed.

What are you using the lightning wallet for?
To be fair, I just use fiat for level 2 transactions
It is instant and free, apart from changing from BTC to fiat, that is.
