Everybody should take very careful note on this one, because, this is the new playbook, just as we predicted. The sheep are being herded into custodial solutions, and those who are suspected or proven to hold plain crypto are debanked.
There‘ll be a lot more of that coming. This is the outcome of BTC being hijacked. BTC was not adopted in the real world, because it was crippled by BSCore in 2017. As a result, there is no real-world crypto economy that would curtail the power of the banks to force people into custody (because an account closure would be inconsequential if you can pay for most things directly with crypto).
This is why Bitcoin and electronic peer to peer cash, uncensorable money and an end to end closed loop crypto economy matters. So that Banks cannot control you like that.

It’s just the same nothing response I’ve been getting for weeks.
“We are working on your issue”.
The resolution is simple.
Refund the transaction, or convert the XMR Kraken sold me (then froze) to BTC or AUD so I can withdraw.
It should be a 5 minute fix, it shouldn’t take 3 weeks.

I have a decent bag of BTC but I'd like to diversify my bag, so I was looking about cardano. Therefore the question is: Why I should buy it instead of ETH?

Let's calculate where that could get you in the scenario that bitcoin performs 10%/year for five years and you consistently DCA 200 AUD/week
1.10\^(1/52) = 1.00183457 so 10%/year = 0.183457%/week
With A = 1.00183457, after 5 years = 5\*52 weeks = 260 weeks, you get
200 \* (A\^260 - 1)/(A - 1) = 66556 AUD
So you can reasonably hope for about 66k AUD of BTC in 5 years. And in this scenario, bitcoin would be 140000\*1.10\^5 = 225000 AUD, therefore you'd have 0.296 BTC

Of course that computation disregards volatility. It also disregards your emotions that might make you buy less went it dumps and more when it pumps, leading to less BTC in the end. Some might also argue that 10%/year is too conservative. Feel free to redo the calculations with another value.
Happy stacking !

To protect against “eventuality” the end of a cycle, I would invest in WeFi (Deobank) - Constant growth is expected with their model and strategy, which is ideal to hedge the BTC cycles. I can help but you are also welcomed to find public information on the project.

Fed rate cuts are not designed "only" for inflation. They are also for economy growth. If you look at recent Fed speaks (since last Fri), the tone has been the tariffs have not contributed much to inflation and their focus has been on jobs. Fed rate cuts would help with job growth since companies can focus on growth instead of cost cutting. You can check the Fed rate cut tool which showed 100% (in Sept), then dropped to \~40% (after JPow said we were undecided about Dec rate cut) and now is back to \~85%. The second aspect is JPow is known not to surprise the markets at the actual FOMC. Since we are just a few days from Dec 10 it is highly improbable in my opinion this reverses course. Gold also broke its resistance (though its back down atm). BTC is inching up (its lagging SPY now though as an indicator). All do hint towards a rate cut and 7000-7200 SPY EOY.

The BTC part of this comment aged like fine milk.
I know we're in a massive bubble the moment the average Redditor talks complete BS about BTC, liquidity and "there's too much money". That's precisely when you have to sell your stocks and watch the stock train wreck crash into a wall.

That's incorrect. UST's collateral was Bitcoin and LUNA. Its depeg was directly triggered by LUNA's collapse. Similarly, Tether's USDT faces depegging risk from BTC volatility, compounded by their lending activities

Estimates vary, and they are all just guesses anyway, albeit we can make quite educated ones. I've seen numbers as high as 3 million BTC. I'm not sure I believe that it is quite that much, but I would not be surprised if it were.

Or perhaps they already did?
I do not understand what is going on with them currently.  I have had an account with them for ten or so years with .1 BTC in it and for at least the past six months they have been unresponsive and it's been impossible to log in.  I know my username and password are correct because I wrote it down but I also memorized it.  When I enter my credentials and hit enter, it goes to a captcha-like puzzle screen which I am able to get past without any issues.
This is the part I get stuck on:
After the challenge screen, I am prompted to enter a confirmation code, which they validate they sent by saying "Enter the confirmation code we sent to your email address." I must have had them try to send me a code at least ten times (With ample time allotted between each attempt), and there is not one email in my inbox or spam folder.
At this point, I try the "reset password" route.  I type in my email and get the following in return when I submit it:
"error returned from database: column "reset\_password\_selector" of relation "users" does not exist"
Are they trying to say my email, therefore my entire account, is no longer registered in their database? I have contacted them on five separate occasions, at least one week apart each, and it's been radio silence.  Wtf is going on?  Has anyone else encountered this?

My guy, look at the overall market cap/valuation of some of these crypto projects.
We're talking billions, tens of billions, hundreds of billions even trillions (in the case of BTC).
Do you honestly believe that all these "projects" (let's call them that even though a better word would be MLM schemes) with 0 real life utility, valued at billions of $ based on hype alone, are a buying opportunity?
