If you have a steady job there’s no point in adding risk to your strategy by taking out loans for investments. Just DCA into a few broad market ETFs, and if you want to spice it up with crypto, just DCA into BTC and ETH. Those 2 are prob the best cryptocurrencies.

With this amount of so-called “experts” here, I’m surprised this wasn’t broken down to you all.
1. When institutions buy BTC OTC, the orders are off the books. Meaning it doesn’t affect the market price instantly. Notice I said instantly, it’s a delayed effect when BTC is bought in bulk OTC. That’s why you see it spike back up constantly a few weeks to months after each dip. It’s still supply and demand.
2. Sellers are selling and aren’t doing it OTC. Which is resulting in this price drop. This is an immediate effect. Not some sort of conspiracy. It’s basic economics.
TL;DR: Buy the dip and HODL. It will go back up.

Crypto, if I had to pick one.
Why: crypto is 24/7, more volatile, and more retail-driven. That means more clean, repeatable edges for small accounts: simple trend/momentum, breakouts, and some mean-reversion still work if you keep fees low. Microstructure is simpler than equities. You can iterate fast.
Catches: regimes flip hard, exchanges can hiccup, and funding rates matter. Backtest with real fees, funding, and slippage. Do walk-forward, not just in-sample curve art. Stick to liquid pairs (BTC/ETH), use maker limits when you can, and size by volatility.
Stocks are doable but tougher. More competition, market hours, locate/short rules, and more noise from news. Edges are narrower: open/close mean-reversion, overnight gap plays, earnings drift. You’ll need longer samples and stricter risk.
If you’re new: start crypto on 1h–4h with a simple trend filter + ATR stop + position sizing. Paper trade, then automate execution from TradingView alerts. Keep it boring and rule-based.

When is a good time to move your BTC to cold storage? When you reach 1? .5? .25? .1?

Scamamucci is discussing Scamalanche?
I kid I kid, but seriously I would probably skip AVAX and just buy the BTC considering how bad the BTC/AVAX chart looks zoomed out.

I've been using Fold for many years. Great product if you want some exposure to BTC for daily purchases, bill pay, etc. Highly recommended.

Be careful, I'm holding too but we have a long term decending channel going back to early 2024 when BTC ETFs went live. There's a ton of great macro news though so we may be able to break the strong resistance at 45-48

But a holder will hardly sell you BTC. I really support Bitcoin, but it scares me to know that something that gives it value isn't being used. I don't distrust Bitcoin, Bitcoin has many more reasons to hold it, but what I'm saying is that Satochi apparently failed at something.

I mean that a loan backed by bitcoin which is a highly volatile asset would be with higher interest than a mortgage.
Also taking two loans instead of one and having your BTC basically blocked as the collateral is stupid idea imo. You won't be able to sell your BTC until loan 1 is paid off.
What's the point of taking it and paying two loans at once?

They can't handle the truth so they'll say this AI generated. They'll also look at this and say, the cycles are playing out exactly the same and Altseason is just around the corner.
We're now 17-months from BTC Halvening which was in April 2024.
- BTC up 74%
- ETH up 33%

Compare that to what other cycles looked like.

Crypto, especially BTC, usually leads the market, as in trends earlier. Meaning stocks green days are very numbered and will go down soonish.

Well unlike Fiat. Bitcoin has a fixed Supply of 21 Million.
Kung naghahanap ka ng complex pyramid scheme we already have that and It's called FIAT. yung currency na ginagamit natin for daily use. We can print Unlimited money til it becomes worthless. Like Zimbabwean Dollar.
Unlike Bitcoin which you cannot print more BTC. dahil fix lang ang supply ni Bitcoin.
We have also used Gold as Currency at tinawag yon na Gold Standard. Sht happens and yung US ang unang nag abandon don.

Same, my port is basically BTC, SOL, HYPE, ASTER.
I don't know enough about kaspa, but it does have relatively decent price action than most alts.
