Yes, it basically mirrors in this case Bitcoin. The ETF fees are minor in comparison to trading BTC. It also trades at USD 51.05, which means it’s very affordable. It’s ideal for 1m - 5m scalping.

Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq on pace for 4th straight day of gains, BTC went back above $90k (for a little).
Amazing what the hope of a rate cut can do.
US market closed 27th and closes early 28th for thanksgiving.

I agree that if he bough a whole BTC with a 200k portfolio, it's dumb.
But having at least 5-10% seems reasonable and most financial advisors recommend this now.

Correct. That was the sentiment I was trying to convey. If you are wanting to invest in crypto/BTC, it’s better to be a believer and hold. If you are just looking to make money on trades, it’s pretty wild price action and hard to predict.
Gold forced me to hold. If it’s easy to trade, I’d probably have sold some by now to make some money. As it stands it’s been 4 years and I haven’t even touched it. Gold may regress some, but I don’t foresee it “crashing” or having the huge swings crypto/BTC has.

You’re trying to argue that BTC isn’t a gamble while describing a scenario that relies entirely on a specific, unproven future outcome. That is the very definition of a bet.

While I get the sentiment let’s not be naive and assume BTC isn’t without it risks.

In terms of hackability… AI makes phishing and social engineering easier. Since crypto relies entirely on the human not making an error, AI might actually make holding crypto riskier for the average person, not less. It’s as easy as losing a password, opening a phishing link, sending btc to the wrong account.. all that leads to 0BTC in your account. If your bank account gets hacked you’re usually insured.

You do realize that all this "profit" is just new accounting tricks/unrealized gains from BTC, right? And that this asset is a highly volatile version of monopoly money which they can never sell, otherwise it would all become worthless in an instant?

ASST is hugely undervalued at these prices. Currently trading at \~$1.10, this can bring big returns if BTC keeps running again (just like it always ends up doing).

They are the first public traded asset management BTC treasury company, and they are aiming to build significant BTC holdings and compound shareholder's value through their strategy.
Given that BTC accumulation and being a pennystock, if BTC keeps rallying the upside is going to be huge, outperforming the own BTC itself.

Recent capital raises and preferred stock issuance gives it fuel to expand BTC holdings without diluting. On Nov 10, they closed an upsized offering of its variable rate preferred shares ($SATA), raising roughly $160 M, specifically to fund further BTC purchases.
This means that common shareholders get leverage to growth in BTC reserves without dilution.

In my opinion, the downside seems limited and the upside is just too big. At this price ($1.10), the price already discounts uncertainty (poor earnings, high volatilty and all that BTC fear).
Now it's the perfect timing gived the market conditions. We can see this again at $2-3 as soon as BTC suprasses 100k

That belief is not "common.'
In a decade, only the WILDEST guesses have BTC at 10mil. So .01 would be what, 100k? IDK about you, but even 10x that, while it would be nice, would not be (nearly) enough to retire on, for me.

Mine account was closed as well. All I did was buy and sell some BTC. Now they tell me I can't get my money out till Jan 3, 2026. This is ridiculous. I have requested an immediate account closure and a refund of my funds. I will never use River again.  Please process the return as you do not have the right to retain my funds and require an immediate refund

I have been invested in QTUM since 2019 and it is by far my greatest investment besides my early crypto bags (BNB @ .10 cents and BTC @ $300). I still DCA into QTUM and don't plan to stop for the next decade.
