I suggest to keep an allocation of Google stock at some fixed level, auto-sell the rest. You might need them for a large purchase and you could sell them without selling your index funds.
I don't time the market... but I time the market slightly with crypto. When BTC is dirt cheap, I've dumped some GOOG to find that.
Nothing crazy I am still mostly in diversified indices. The rest are below 10% of my portfolio

I fear going into to much detail would be doxxing.
It was biblical though. Netflix special worthy. Maybe I write a book one day.
tldr though - long term the better move is keeping your dayjob and stacking BTC.

If you are a hardcore BTC believer then why did you put it all in some meme token? You should be questioning how strong those BTC beliefs are (and what they are honestly other than ngu hopium).

1. Sell that wojak. That’s a gorgeous profit, now lock it in.
2. If you truly believe that BTC will hit 1 million in the next decade or so, then it’s still a bargain at this price point. Put some of that profit in there.
3. Keep some cash on hand for a next opportunity.

If your grandpa wants to buy BTC from blackrock, he has to buy the ETF and Blackrock has to buy the bitcoin at the time of your grandpas order instead of giving your grandpa bitcoin that theyre holding.
Then if your grandpa wants to sell BTC from his Blackrock holding then Blackrock needs to sell the BTC it was holding for your grandpa then give that money to your grandpa.
They do this because the government knows that if they allow Blackrock to just buy and sell bitcoin from their own reserves then theyll have an easier time manipulating the market by keeping the trades outside of the public books.
Obviously super simplified but it's the jist of it

I think it's a little hard to include BTC in these backtests as it chops off your back testable period. Plus there's a lot of survivorship bias in BTC. I try and solve this by having a portfolio that rebalances according to available data. Like if you only have SPY you're 100% spy for that year. However this leads to weird optimizations and performance calculations.
Along with that, I'm wondering how much value there is in a rebalancing portfolio given that rebalancing is very tax inefficient. Maybe a statically weighted portfolio or even a portfolio where you can only balance through DCA is more realistic.

BTC will never ever undergo a HardFork to gain Quantum resistance, it would prove them (Dev.) wrong since 2014 :P

Seriously. MSTR is an expensive BTC wrapper run by a charlatan. Their actual product is probably the shittiest tool I’d ever seen for BI when we demoed it.

Satoshi could’ve made 42M, 69M, or 420M BTC. 21M was just the math’s final answer.

It would matter because BlackRock is a powerful group of mofos who move the market and are likely to know what’s around the corner. If they’re dropping BTC for strategic reasons, that’s different than if they’re dropping BTC because a bunch of their paper hand retail boomer clients are dropping BTC.

I'm you with BTC, I never made money with it but thought I'd start trading it a bit recently since it looked kinda stable and rangebound...down 20% in a few weeks, lol.
