I sold a house to buy BTC, I'd prefer it over renters.

I mean, all true, but it's also true that the ETFs and Microstrategy's BTC-exposure-bonds make BTC available to a lot of money that previously lacked such access. All else being equal, you'd expect that to increase demand - and, yep, we've been holding over $100k for a while now. How long did we spend \*talking\* about hitting $100k?
No clue where this cycle will end, but we aren't in the little leagues any more.

So long as about fewer than 4 people in the world are making a BTC transaction, the BTC network and fees are stable.
The problems are two fold.
Firstly fee stability is dependent on low transaction volume. During times of mass adoption and use transaction fees have exceeded $100 per transaction with just a few basic inputs. If you want to transact you need to bid to get into a block, and your transaction may not be confirmed for month, days or weeks while others are outbidding you to encourage miners to prioritize their transactions.
The second issue manifest in the future after a halving or two when miners need to get paid, and only 4 transactions per second are paying customers so they have to push up the price to transact or provide less hashing security, making the network more vulnerable to a 51% attack, as it's no longer more profitable to cooperate.

You bought BTC and you have become obsessed with the price. You buy BTC, lock it in cold storage and forget about it.

Specifically, it does not help with Wheeling because those are a pattern of single cc and short put trades. But it will track those trades well in a number of different ways.
Within Positions, shares are listed with associated options underneath. Positioned like this with the Value and Basis columns in use, it is easy to see what’s in profit and by what percentage. This is critical to BTC or rolling decisions.
Another feature are the Options by Underlying, Strategy, & Expiration screens. They’re essentially a different layout of the same information as Positions has. But the Bid/Ask spread and the Greeks fit better here and tell the same story 3 different ways.
We essentially learn how to tailor ATP to our needs. It’s so much better and versatile than the phone app or website that a book could be written about it. It does very little automatically, we set up everything. Charts are crisp and minimized Quote windows still have large noticeable numerals. I generally run seven charts and 10 quote windows, an option chain that’ll expand to full vertical screen at the tap of a button, and an Orders window. ATP is about readily accessible information with which to make good, informed trading decisions. It’ll help you be a better trader if you work at being that.

well XMR is the closest thing to digital cash because its untraceable. if you give someone to cash off-camera the only proof is either of you saying it happened. thats how XMR works. on the other hand BTC solana eth etc are traceable publicly.

there would be no reason for any coin except XMR to be the cash of the future. people with money don't like people seeing what they spend their money on

Because Joe Average won't open and manage their own channels, they will rely on third parties to do it for them.
I know it's acceptable to have such a risk for micro transactions but it's far easier to just use another chain and swap between wrapped assets rather than 'swap' between BTC on-chain and lighting.

False, 99% don’t have a revenue stream, all cryptos rely on hype and attention from the community. Again as I stated above giga is more than a meme. They have an ACTUAL BUSINESS attached to the coin. Check out GIGA fitness website and you will see the fitness line is there and very real. We also have workout supplements and energy drinks almost done we have IP rights and support from Ernest (actual gigachad himself) big names like Paul Acosta, chuck liddel and Mike ohearn support as well. The company sells product and buys back with profit from the business. All other projects suck besides BTC, SOL, ETH and GIGA. I can link the X thesis in here as well as several videos about our project. No giga anons?

Agree on DCA, but exercise caution with any platform that offers yield on BTC. I’ve never researched Nexo, but most other services that have offered BTC yield have folded and/or turned out to be scams. I was fortunate to get off Celsius before the hammer fell, but many did not.

The UAE holds 6,386 BTC, valued at almost $740 million, acquired through mining operations by Citadel Mining, a state-controlled entity. This makes the UAE the sixth-largest holder of Bitcoin globally, surpassing El Salvador. The UAE's Bitcoin reserves are part of a larger pool of 517,000 BTC held by countries, worth over $57 billion.

Yup. They "lost" my account. It had \~1BTC in it - worth little at the time, now enough to pay off someone's college debt! Never got resolved, and I got "blacklisted" at several BTC companies for more than 5 years because of my complaints.

I don’t know what you’ve done to YOUR ChatGPT, but mine is screaming for me to get out of miners, as they consistently underperform BTC unless entry and exit are timed perfectly.

For upcoming week:
Ixhl, TGE and GPUS
IXHL - chart looks primed for curl back up mixed with the catalysts of conference call Friday and earnings the following Monday.
TGE - Owned by the ATMD group (remember HKD originally?), they had a nice pop after getting destroyed all summer.  It’s like the exact opposite of HKD’s initial move.  But after a nice pop middle of last week it went back down to the bottom. But now out of nowhere, it had mainly all inflow including some large orders. Maybe some big news coming? Plus their warrant holders agave a price of $11.50 I believe.  They have already announced previous crypto investment as one of their strategies plus others.  Anyways, very unusual buys happening all of a sudden.
GPUS - Full on doing BTC purchasing and planning to do updates every Tuesday.  Unsure how the market will react but I expect either a lead up to Tuesday or if it doesn’t move much then maybe Tuesday it’ll actually pop.

Agree. But you’re missing the idea that the more transactions the APY will go up. The staking rewards from the reserve get halved about every 4 years but the fees from transactions should go up.
I’m not crazy and saying “it’ll work”. This is the risk with cardano. Can we generate enough transactions to increase yield before staking and stake pools are no longer lucrative and kill the security. Luckily, operating a stake pool isn’t expensive like mining. But the point is well made.
And as I said earlier, this is the risk with all the chains. Eth isn’t on a fixed supply, so they can inflate to keep the reserve filling up, but it is algorithmic based on transactions. Sol’s mechanism is to inflate at fixed rates down to 1.5%. In inflationary mechanics, your complicating the compounding interest because you may not be able to increase both number and value (like the federal reserve setting interest rates that increase or decrease the number for holding currency, but through inflation and thus decrease value).
In this way, Cardano is sort of a hybrid between Eth and BTC. We use staking rather than POW but we have a fixed supply. Our compound interest allows yield through staking and increase value of each coin through a fixed supply. If CH and the teams building can get throughout and transactions, it will be increasingly lucrative. If they can’t, the experiment fails.

Seems pointless to sell BTC to do this. Why not just continue to be patient for more fiat?

A raspberry pi4 and probably a 3 are both fine. A 2tb drive will be sufficient for years. It should cost you $200 or less. Please use worthless fiat instead of selling your BTC.
