>Nice AI drivel. I've worked enough with AI to know that most current models will spit out whatever the user tries to get it to agree to. Was that ChatGPT or Grok, or most current Gemini?
WOW!!! CONGRATS!!! Now try to read what i wrote before patting yourself on the back too much for your ability to decipher AI!!! XD
>I put our conversation into AI and asked it to be a psychologist and diagnose your argument style because it reads really weird and not as clever as you think you're being. You might be interested in how others perceive you online. Or you probably know this already and will just dig in deeper and never admit wrong.

Trying to claim 'miscommunication' now instead of just admitting you're wrong... nice! Have a good day/night or whatever it is where you are. I'll be buying BTC I supposedly can't do anything with while you can have your dollar inflating away :)
Remind me! 10 years

If you’re this sure, show your massively short BTC positions. Put your money where your mouth is otherwise you don’t know shit.

Not worth it. Lottery/mining apps are basically scams, and real BTC mining is expensive and low-profit for small players. Just buy BTC and hold it’s far simpler and safer and statistically will also make you money if you hold for 10Y and don’t panic sell.

Days like today show why BTC tends to have consecutive +3-5% days during prior periods of momentum reversal.
Even with another green day for stocks, the Nikkei being up tonight and Futures looking positive, there was still over **$3 Billion** more fresh Short-position volume opened than Long-positions in the last 24 hours.
They keep greedily piling on trying to hold it down, but when market sentiment continues to trend upwards, those shorts turn it into a powder keg.

I'm not concerned about IL, because for me, LPs are a cash flow, I use the daily yield to pay for expenses and buy more ETH/BTC.
If my ETH/USDC pool goes down, I'll simply hold ETH. If it goes up, great, I'll have maybe some profit on the pool value + whatever yield I collected.
My main assets are just sitting in AAVE, so they'll appreciate in value anyway. The borrowed money is purely to generate a cash flow.

I've been waiting for BTCI to dump since April. Pulled the trigger a little early when BTC was around 99k but I'm not mad.

Thank you for taking the time to write this in response and without contempt.
I was under the impression that when the treasury issues bonds and the Fed “purchases” them, such as the 54 billion over 4 days in May from this year, they are doing so by increasing the money supply. I didn’t say they printed money, but just that M2 is increased to purchase those bonds. When the government spends those dollars (the deficit spending) how is that not bringing those created dollars into the circulation? Genuine question, as that was the aspect I couldn’t comprehend.
Since this “quantitative” process is happening, I also concede that loan repayment or other movements of money to outside m2 lowers the m2 supply. Buying stocks, crypto ext would be decreasing notes on the bank side. Still, we have twice as much “money” in the system as OPs pic year (2012 - 9.7 trillion in January). So while I understand the ebb and flow of increase and decrease to m2, we’ve largely rocketed in one direction and the more you zoom out the more this is visible. How can this be unrelated to the purchasing power decline of the dollar? Can you imagine the result of increasing the BTC total supply? It would logically lead to less purchasing power of each individual BTC held.
I should have clarified that I was only looking back 8 or 9 months when noting the m2 jumping each month. I know we are up nearly a trillion since beginning of this year. 21.4 trillion (December 24) vs 22.3 trillion (current).
Again, much respect for your response and tone.

📈 BTC is currently compressing inside a clean symmetrical triangle on the 4H timeframe, and price is approaching the apex. This is usually where volatility expands and a major move begins. Instead of guessing the direction, the safest approach is to wait for a confirmed breakout with strong candle close and volume.
🟢 Safe Buy Entry (If bullish breakout)
• Entry: 89.2k – 89.5k
• Stop Loss: 86.8k
• Targets: 91.8k → 94.5k → 97.5k
🔻 Safe Sell Entry (If bearish breakdown)
• Entry: 85.8k – 85.5k
• Stop Loss: 88.2k
• Targets: 84k → 82.7k → 80.5k
While price remains inside the triangle, there is no safe entry because triangles often give fakeouts. Waiting for breakout + retest protects you from unnecessary losses and gives you a high-probability setup with clear risk management.

Aswath argues Gold and Bitcoin are more in the collectible category than in the asset category. I didn’t see any Assath post about general collectibles. M
I think RC has a huge opportunity to spin his BTC purchase as an extension of the core business around collectibles. Because buying it as a “hedge against inflation” when all data shows it’s not a hedge against is stupidity (assuming you actually read the Aswath post)

honestly if losing value scares you maybe just dca 5-10% of your portfolio into BTC/ETH.
Even if you ride the dip down, you're just improving your DCA for when it bounces. Maybe add one or two alts later once you understand what you're holding. NFA. DYOR.

You leave a sinking ship now, and maybe get back in way later, or find something else. The world is a lot wider than BTC.

I get the feeling we're going to go on the 4k <---> 2k crab extravaganza ride one more time, but after that it will finally be over. BTC.D is breaking down, Bond Option Volatility Index is breaking under 75 which historically coincides with BTC going parabolic, QT ending, ETH stronger than ever fundamentally, ETFs still holding incredible ammounts of volume, liquidity is better than ever for majors (BTC and ETH,) despite all the belly aching about "forced selling" and alts in low liquidity conditions during exchange bugs. And the yen carry trade's ghost will never change the fact that the global banking system is starting to print money again, and will be issuing cheap credit to grease the wheels of the economy.
All in all, yield farm and chill, delayed gratification can be a good thing, and ETH is both the future of, and maybe even a little bit the present of France.

Whether solo-mining is "worth it" depends on how much you value the activity as a learning experience, rather than hoping to mine a block and earn about $300K worth of BTC from it.
If you get a lower-end solo-miner such as a NerdQaxe++ Hydro doing 6 TH/s, you would be expected to mine a Bitcoin block about every 3000 years, on average. In other words, you would have about a 1 in 3000 chance per year of mining a block.
Obviously, the higher a hashrate you have, the more likely you are to mine a block.
You can also connect your miner to a mining pool, which guarantees you will receive payouts according to how much hashrate you have. However, whether this is profitable for you will depend entirely on your electricity price. Generally, over $0.10/kWh is too expensive and you would be mining at a loss. It is in these cases that most people choose to solo-mine, since pool mining would make no economic sense.

I wanted to get input from others in similar situation.
I've been DCA-ing for few years so far and my average price of BTC is 70k, ETH is around 2.2k
When did you/when are you planning to take profits?
I'm still continuing with investing into both, but I struggle taking profits. I have issues with taking small profits because it's doesn't feel right reducing the total portfolio for small gains, and also I struggle making big moves, which in hindsight would be ideal eg. was planning to exit all at 110k BTC, and either reinvest at lower ends or rotate into a different investment.
But because I'm subjective and long term bullish - I don't take profits.
How do guys handle this and how do you generally go about your portfolio?

These types of dips are very normal for Bitcoin. It's been consolidating in this range all year as lots of coin changes hands around the $100k price, the most monumental price in BTC's history.
Check $IBIT and you will see there was hardly any selloff from the ETFs - it's only down about 4% from all time high BTC holdings. So most of this selling is from spot.
Today, it was announced that Texas officially became the first state to purchase BTC for their state treasury. Keep in mind Texas is the 8th largest GDP in the world! The fundamentals get stronger each day, it's just a waiting game really.
