Read you guys dialog and all I know and believe is that things culminate with various players playing not the same roles. As they say in BTC when holders hate on sellers, sellers interacting with buyers makes a market. Buyers without sellers is a non existent market.

Allocation? Keep 1 BTC at a minimum. Do you have any debts to pay? Deal with that. Anything left?
Safer? What you probably means is "less volatile". With time on your side, volatility becomes less important. Pick any date - Bitcoin has always been up from 4 years previous.
Foundation? Come back when you have 10 BTC :)

Yes this is correct. No one could have consciously held BTC for a decade or more

Yeah the BTC sub is just an echo chamber of people obviously insecure about their BtC investments constantly trying to convince each other that BTC is a safe bet. It’s absolutely hilarious

My personal advice would be that if you made this money from sh1tty alt coins, move it all into BTC and ETH and just leave it - don’t touch it again

I trade only crypto, so my perspective is focused on that side of the market. The truth is, altseasons never look the same twice. 2021 was explosive because liquidity was insane and retail was flooding in. Right now, BTC dominance is sticky because institutional money is flowing mainly into Bitcoin first — alts always lag until conviction grows.
What I’ve been doing is less about guessing the exact top and more about building systems that take advantage of volatility whether dominance rises or falls. That way I don’t need to time a ‘proper altseason’ perfectly. Bots don’t care if it’s AI hype, RWA, or meme coins — they just follow the rules I set and catch opportunities 24/7.
If the cycle theory holds, we’ll probably see a proper alt run once Bitcoin cools down. But instead of betting everything on that narrative, I prefer consistency over hype. Chasing the “one top” has burned me before — letting automation grind out gains has kept me saner this cycle.

Yeah this cycle has felt very BTC-led with only short bursts for alts. If we do get a true altseason, I’d expect it late Q4 once BTC cools off and money rotates.

BCH is the LOW-FEE version of Bitcoin.

Do you guys think we will see a 2021 kind of Altseason? So far a few major alts have pumped but itss been mainly in response to bitcoin bullrun... Usually, this should be followed by a decline in Bitcoin dominance and an Altseason but the there have been minimal decline in BTC dominance and even when it did happen some months ago, the alts fell rapidly when Bitcoin fell...
I don’t know man, this one has me scared. but when i remember there have been a cycle and even this pattern we see today is not entirely out of character, its abit of a relief i suppose
I HODL some BTC which is 70+% of my portfolio but i stacked alts... plus, there have been a resurgence of RWA and rising of AI projects in the space and i wonder how it affect the narrative... i stacked some other alts using various testnets and im looking forward to listing of Zero Protocol which will be listing on top CEX like Bitget MEXC and Kucoin etc but to be honest i plan to hodl the bags ive gathered through this altseason at least...
But other than that it was very disappointing cycle i have to say. I think the 4 year cycle holds this time but I don't think it'll keep working that way forever...
What are your Strategies for the next months?
When do you expect the top for alts to come?
How long will a proper alt season last?

I’m a BTC holder but I’m struggling to understand how or what it’s checkmating.
The simple fact is that Bitcoin each day continues to move further away from the ethos of what Satoshi was trying to achieve with it in the first place.
It’s going to in time be recognized for what it is: a store of wealth for the elite. Those holdings coins not sats.
It can be many things, and it’s an amazing creation and technology, but it won’t be a currency hence it won’t be a medium of exchange which leaves it as a store of value where govts, sovereign wealth funds and billionaires accrue it to the detriment of people who don’t.

I'd choose a diversified portfolio and dollar cost average bitcoin. I'm really glad I didn't purchase BTC in lump sum in 2021 during the bull market. I bought it all the way to the to 69,000 and all the way down to 20,000 and then I loaded up after the Sam Bankmann-Fried meltdown.

Why is there a need to withdraw to a bank? Isn’t the point of crypto to be able to buy say a Mercedes Benz with ETH or BTC.
You’re banking it to spend it, right?
Why not just spend it as is?

I agree with this. It is political suicide for BTC to admit a need for larger blocksize, as every feature after the fork has either been to address that shortcoming in some other way, or to provide some value already better provided in BCH.

Habe mir beides angeschaut.

Congrats! Those are amazing numbers for your age. If I were in your position, I’d make sure to build a safety fund first (the size depends on your personal circumstances). With the rest, I’d go 90% into BTC and 10% into stocks just for fun. Then I’d focus on living a normal life and forget about that money until either a) I need it for something meaningful, like buying a house, or b) it grows enough to reach escape velocity and grant financial independence

Asked GPT of such cases :
2017: Mt. Gox trustee sold huge amounts of BTC during bankruptcy → contributed to 2018 crypto winter.
2021–22: Institutions hoarded via ETFs & treasuries (Tesla, MicroStrategy). When sentiment turned risk-off + Fed raised rates, selling pressure → BTC collapsed from $69k → ~$16k.
