Yes, buy it. Then take a collateralized loan and get 50% back.
Go put the 50% in something else. If BTC falls 50% you’re liquidated, but still have the 50% elsewhere.

In 10 years, you are going to regret cashing in any BTC for a car that will likely have depreciated by 75%.

I believe that in his recent video he backtracked his never sell BTC and changed it to selling some if needed to cover the dividends.

So you’ve already sold some BTC? What I would do is not sell everything — hold on to most of it. When we reach important levels, sell 5 to 10% each time. If the price drops afterwards, you can buy more BTC again.

It means the mayor is probably funneling tax dollars into BTC and essentially gambling with money he's been entrusted with. Or laundering money.

That seems to be over simplifying it a bit.
The 2025 BTC/EUR candle has a range of *€*66k-*€*106k, a 61% increase from low to high.
The 2025 BTC/USD candle has a range of $74k-$124k, a 68% increase from low to high.
It's not like we've been sitting right around *€*100k all year while the USD price surged, which is what I took from your comment, but maybe I misunderstood.

Ummm… if anyone “with AI” steals MicroStrategy’s BTC, guess what will happen to your “safe” investment in MicroStrategy? Same thing that could happen to your BTC.
But… if Saylor has been full of crap in his maximalist pitch (I don’t think so, but if), and he decides to sell, then your personal BTC will be a lot safer.

Premarital assets are not automatically subject to division. If you have assets and don't use them in a manner that would "comingle" them, then you should be safe. So, if i was BTC rich pre-marriage, and never cashed them and flowed the money into shared expenses or experiences, they should be 100% yours.

You can zoom out to see how boring this has become since about 2023. Idk why we watch it even. I think a lot of us are from a time before, when BTC made big moves and we haven't got the memo that an asset that goes up 20% a year is an insane thing to watch every day. We hold out hope that the end of the year will bring some fun. BTC is up 23.44% YTD and the 4 year CAGR of it is 25% right now. Imagine if someone tried to watch the SP500 like a hawk every day and tried to correlate every thing that happened in the world to the minute changes it has every day. It's a pointless way to live.

Spx6900 bc it has the highest memetic ceiling with the goal of flipping the stock market. Even falling orders of magnitude short of this goal will still be a huge success from the current 1.3 billion market cap. The smartest most passionate die hard peeps are showing up everyday to work for the community. I was a huge utility maxi but have pivoted for the following reasons...
1. All tokens are community driven (spx6900 has the most passionate die hard cult like community. Many others have tried to claim this phenomenon but most are 70% to 95% off of all time highs or wost they rugged)
2. The community has been battle tested over the last 2 years with multiple 70% corrections and after every one they have come back to make new all time highs.
3. It's one of the few tokens to out perform btc in each of the last 2 years.
4. Several early BTC maxis see whats happening with the community and see the value in said community
5. It has the best narrative of the memes with the goal of flipping the S&P 500
6. a) it does not have multi year bag holders
b) it does not have VC token unlocks
c) it cannot have developmental/roadmap delays
d) it is fully diluted with no early round investor allocations
e) it is listed on majors like coinbase, Kraken, bybit, with more to come
f) no risk of team infighting/legal disputes
g) enough liquidity so you can actually buy with size
h) no poor earnings/revenue reports
i) no poor user experiences/hacks
j) it's multi chain (eth, sol, base)
k) no risk of being rugged like newer launches or newer communities that have bot been battle tested
l) no paid KOL shills with early allocations
It is just so obv one of the best asymmetrical bets this cycle. Instead of fading, submerse yourself in the community and observe. Watch Murads Spx6900 Thesis on X/YouTube. Watch Country Fried Chad's interviews with community members on YouTube. Learn then decide to fade. Its just so funny to me the hate murad gets and the desire for some to make him a villain meanwhile they are getting wrecked on flavor of the month scams when the most obv answer is right infront of them. Yes, Murad works relentlessly for his bags, and guess what? If you joined the cognisphere, he'd be working relentlessly for your bags too :)

Will do? Or did? They mention BTC was $2500 and wild speculation said it could 10x from there. Turns out it has 40x from that price.
So yeah, not sure what you mean by ‘will do’ BTC and other major crypto’s have already done it.
I see you mentioned Q below. I always thought the Q disciples were all in on crypto? I don’t know, I stopped following along with that social media version of astrology like 4 years ago, so maybe their loyalties have changed over that time.

Sad but true. Lucky if the fees and the spread is less than 10%
Back in the old days when we had no KYC.. I was with my GF at the time at the mall. Trying to withdraw some cash from said BTC ATMs. The fing thing clogged up from all the notes. There I was trying to pull them out one by one while not tearing them. She looked ashamed for some reason.

Altcoins outside the top 10 or 20 are still so deep in the sewers like never before so far into the cycle. So the uncertainty and whining is understandable. Nobody whines about BTC

You know the answer, but will explain before my account also gets banned.
The OP got deleted because censorship to hide something the community does not know about.
My post was a summary of facts: bitcoin and all crypto is taken hostage by US bankers, because 70% of all fiat-crypto volume goes trough USDT ( layer 2 for liquidity between exchanges). You think you give your fiat to the guy who sells you bitcoin, but in reality tether takes your money and creates a bullshit shitcoin for it, so now we have 1 fiat, 1 bitcoin and 1 usdt, inflating everything even more. simplified and not always like that, most money goes trough usdt, but a big sum stays there.
Even if you see in the EUR/BTC in the screen, there is a EUR-USD-USDT-BTC process underneath in 70% of the cases which you dont know about.
This is such big amount of money that tether the company, is now a top20 holder of US debt, bigger than Italy for example, and one of the biggest buyers of US debt in the last years.
This leads to a lower debt the US is paying, because this new big buyer came into the market outbidding other buyers like treasuries of countries.
My claim is that bitcoin is not bitcoin anymore, because the whole ecosystem is build on top of stablecoins, not bitcoin, and thus everyone who buys crypto with fiat, is making bigger debt for the US much cheaper.

I wouldn’t have bought so early but fundamentally I was ready for it, by 2012 I woulda had the cash to spend had I been cool enough to know.
But yea the people who scraped their BTC dry to buy weed or straight lost it after that purchase, that hurts

BTC 1x RBRK 9/19 80p @ 0.2 (+1.35).
I was expecting to get assigned on this. I have 50 shares @ $100 so I'm not sure if I should average down and sell a CC or just hold. Anyone have advice?

Every time I come in here and see everyone whining, I look at the chart and we're always at the same price we were a week ago. Oh no.
Shit goes up and down FFS. Big moves are short periods and BTC ranges 80%+ of the time, always has.
Get a grip, touch grass, zoom out and have some patience. BTC is up 2x since a year ago.

I can understand that gold has underlying value because people will buy it for purposes other than selling it to someone else for more. But something else with underlying value being overvalued doesn't mean that it's smart to gamble on something that is insanely overvalued in the trillions of dollars, with no underlying value whatsoever. Making an argument against gold isn't making an argument in favor of BTC.
If the entire global economy collapses and banks stop giving people money, nobody anywhere will be doing transactions with BTC. You think we'll get to a point where banks shut down but you'll have electricity and unfettered internet access? It's not "portable" in cases where society collapses. Gold coins are, incidentally.
You measure BTC's value in USD, so it experiences inflation along with it since it has no underlying value. It's not a hedge against anything because it's not actually used for anything except gambling. It dumped 80% on no news a couple years ago, it's not stable against any market forces, it's extremely volatile based on when gamblers decide to buy or sell.

LN isn’t meant to replace Bitcoin, it’s meant to offload high-frequency microtransactions so the base layer doesn’t get spammed. You still need Bitcoin for channel funding and settlement.
The problem isn’t that LN “doesn’t scale,” it’s that it’s not designed for onboarding the unbanked directly — that’s what the base layer + better UX solutions are for. LN is an optional layer for people who want instant, cheap payments without bloating the chain.
Saying “LN is for banks” misses the point — anyone can run a node, open channels, and route payments. Banks might use it, sure, but so can individuals. It’s just a tool, not a conspiracy to turn BTC into fiat 2.0.
