I interpret the question as: how to swap the BTC for ETH on a dex. Not how to keep BTC but on the Ethereum chain.

BTC has been a passing fad for 16+ years /s

Sounds like you've already started to adjust based on other comments which is good. I'm actually even more spread out than you, but no memecoins (no stablecoins either tho, so maybe don't listen to me lol).
Certified alt junkie here but I spend some time every day on Tradingview. If you can learn to read chart movements and set smart stop limit orders you'll be ahead of most traders out there, and you'll understand more about why your assets are or aren't taking off regardless of whether it's 'alt season'.
If you prefer to just invest occasionally without watching the charts then stick with the stablecoins, and maybe one small cap alt or memecoin for fun. Right now is a somewhat unstable period where BTC and ETH are each trying to prove they're the dominant one, which is impacting the entire market. Good luck to ya!

Oh, and about your “outside of BTC” comment. I think this is where the Grayscale will help. BTC is the majority of it, it’s popular and well known. People will probably just buy for that part of it. Then they’re exposed to these other coins included in it. They see, oh shit ETH outperformed BTC, maybe I should get some of that by itself
