So you want to invest in a company that calls itself "smarter" (Formerly Uranium Energy Exploration Plc), now a web design company, that just want's to be a btc treasury...
Have you run through their financials, have you seen their reports:
https://www.aquis.eu/stock-exchange/announcements/5289825
They raise money, buy btc through subscription program with Shard Merchant Capital, which is another risk, which only works if shares trade well above underlying assets... that premium compresses over time, and then they cant raise more money... no matter what BTC is at, their company is based on a doomed financing model.
It's traded on Aquis, the liquidity risk of you even selling these shares in five years is too high... Will you find a buyer for what you are considering to be your pension?

Should be buy before the approval and being chill because you studied BTC therefore know it’s impossible to enforce a BTC ban.

It's a shame free alternative when BTC clogs up. No maxi could admit they used BCH. LTC with its lower blocktime has less variance in conf times between exchanged and is generally favoured in amount of confs needed by CEXes over BCH. This will will of course change when it also hits is scaling limit as BTC does.

BTC cheerleaders have been wrong about everything yet they still try to enter the conversation when their opinions are useless.

Hopium. Diminishing returns over time. World wars dont breed speculative investments. I'm not anti BTC, but every bull run has new birds chirping and this one isn't different
I do admit it is a bigger risk to not invest in BTC, but dont bet your family farm on it. Educate yourself for conviction, then stack your sats. No need to promise fairytales to everyone else and make them lose their life savings after a 85% bear market drop. Sure it's their fault, but shilling does more damage than good

Convert the XRP to LINK, and some BTC/ETH.

Today we get our first rate cut out of several rate cuts expected to occur through year end. The last time the Fed proceeded with scheduled rate cuts broadcasted well in advance was on September 18, 2024.
BTC was trading as low as $59.2k and as high as $61.6k on that day. BTC bottomed slightly lower a few weeks later on October 10, 2024 at $58.8k and then after that it was nonstop up from there.
If today is similar, expect some volatility and whatever the low ends up being today amidst that volatility should end up being close to the best possible entry point you’ll get going forward while the Fed proceeds to actively cut rates during a post halving year for the first time ever.

Lightning and those channels are a UX nightmare and a Dev nightmare, honestly. However I do think BTC tends to be much more decentralised this way.

Lombard has been gaining serious traction as a Bitcoin liquid staking project. Their LBTC token hit $1B TVL in just 92 days, making it one of the fastest-growing protocols in the space. What makes it interesting is how it turns BTC into a productive asset while keeping it liquid, which feels like a shift for Bitcoin’s role in DeFi.
CMC link: [https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lombard/](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lombard/)
I also noticed that Bitget is among the first exchanges to pick up $BARD, which lines up with their pattern of listing Bitcoin DeFi projects early. That timing can really matter for traders who want exposure before the wider market catches on.
Do you think Bitcoin liquid staking has the same long-term potential as ETH staking, or is it more of a niche play?

Hard to pin down an exact ATH, depends on how much broader market momentum lines up with Solana’s own growth. If BTC rips, SOL usually follows, but its upside comes from actual usage: DeFi, memes, NFTs, and dev activity. That’s what pushed it so hard last cycle.
The risk side is always centralization concerns and outages, if those creep back, they’ll cap excitement. Personally, I’m treating SOL as a long-term hold with some side bets in ecosystem projects. When I rotate in/out across chains, r/Rubic makes it easier since it aggregates 100+ chains and gets you the best swap routes.

It’s great that something like this is happening in the UK, but I fear that we’re a few years behind the hype at the moment. The UK is so risk averse compared to the US in terms of BTC.
British government could claw their way out of spiralling debt if they bought BTC, but here we are!

It's the better tech. That doesn't matter for adoption. Marketing is everything. Propaganda is marketing. Controlling the dialogue is marketing. BTC did that. BCH tried to have an honest competition. They weren't playing the same game.

No I’m not someone trying to get you to buy my course so nice try. Why is it so hard for you to understand that the comments are saying there was a FAR BETTER way to achieve everything you said and STILL keep your BTC which is just a vessel for personal wealth. I can see clearly you didn’t read anything I wrote which was objective and data driven so I’ll stop. Hopefully other people don’t fall into this trap of homeownership and keep the banks happy. You seriously need a crash course on personal finance to get you to understand, far beyond the scope of this public forum. 🤷‍♂️
