Develop the discipline to a have an emergency fund, and then treat BTC going down 60% as an emergency so you can dip into your fund. Seriously though you should have an emergency fund, at least a couple months rent. If the market dips to certain levels I’ll drop my fund lol

Yeah that’s it. That scene in “ The wolf of Wall Street “, Mathew Mc’s character says something along the lines of
“ Number one rule of Wall Street: Nobody - I don't care if you're Warren Buffett or Jimmy Buffett - Nobody knows if the stock's going to go up, down, sideways, or spin in a circle. “
In saying this, I have full confidence of BTC in the long term, eventually it will prevail, I actually think it’s inevitable it will prevail.

The fear of seeing "0.00000000 BTC" in my Bitcoin Core client *far* outweighs the fear of these kinds of drawdowns.
It gets easier with time.

Can't shake me...the funny thing about BTC, is that as soon as I start fantasizing about quitting my job, it tanks. I think it is all my fault.

$126 was the peak. 84k may not even be the trough. Again, we'll find all of that out pretty soon. I'm familiar with all that you said and it's true but the truth is that nobody knows. I'm definitely not venting and don't need an exit plan. Peak, trough, etc... all irrelevant to me - I just keep buying and have never sold a single position. At the end of the day, BTC will end up in the millions. Not a matter of if but rather when. Just answering the dude's question.

This. If the algos would let gme consistently trade in the $50-$100 range maybe i would think to myself the DD was wrong and maybe this is just the real price, but the price just keeps dropping despite so many positive factors and anomalies
RC buys BTC and for some reason unloke literally any other ticker that divulges BTC holdings and have massive run ups GME tanks.
Constient quarters of record high earnings-price drops.
Massive institutional buy ins. Price drops.
Warrants being bought like hotcakes. Price drops.
Im sure there's plenty more exmaples im not thinking off.
Bottom line the price is fake

The BTC will punish the first 82000 bottom-hunters, and the real panic-level news hasn't even come yet. This is common in any cycle. This is a sideways bear market. The lowest point is approximately 74,500.

Hey mate buying 10 BTC and holding for 20 to 30 years is not just a million but a figure you cannot imagine currently.
Add inflation to the institutional demand and yes you have invested now to create generational wealth.
Buying Bitcoin even at the current price point and adding if and when the price drops (DCA strategy) would get you not only to enjoy generational wealth but also survive whats coming in terms of financial disaster and unthinkable controls; unless of course you have not heard about “you will own nothing and be happy”. Just Google it and read up. For me (and everyone wanting not to be enslaved) it’s a scary thought if someone in a responsible position says that phrase openly. Still most of us do nothing about it and live like nothings going to happen.
Ignorance is not bliss.

That’s not how global currency works unfortunately. It’s economics & trade when we mention these things. Anything with weight of national currency is thereby regulated by the country it is governed by.. no foreign country wants to be undermined by the flow of another currency than there own. This is why we had so much trouble with BTC & crypto in the beginning.

BTC has had no volume today, probably none tomorrow. When there is no volume its easy for anything to float up until volume and the trend returns.

BTC is a Store of Value, it's not the value itself, just the vessel for storing value.

Where do you see BTC bottoming out? And what about this particular pump, seems like a way to lure retail folks as exit liquidity.

Glad to see BTC recovering but still kinda funny that when Saylor says “there has never been a 4 year period where BTC hasn’t gone up by at least 50%” there are only 16 years to track

Losing passive flows would definitely hurt the stock price, which would make it more difficult for him to dilute the stock and buy BTC. Maybe wouldn't hurt the other offerings as much.
