If Bitcoin’s price rises to $120,000, those short positions won’t have enough collateral to cover their losses, so exchanges will forcefully close (liquidate) them.
When liquidation happens, exchanges buy back Bitcoin to close the shorts, which can push the price even higher.
👉 In short: if BTC hits $120K, around $7B in shorts could get wiped out, triggering a massive short squeeze and potentially accelerating the price surge. 🚀

What would be your exit stratagy with this Portfolio. I do not want to know about swapping coins in portfolio unless it is for BTC or stable coins.

Yes, but we have seen so far this cycle to be different than the previous. BTCd also might not go as low as in prior cycles as the BTC pump was made but leverage in exchanges but now it’s through the ETF’s, Saylor and so on. So, no one knows what’s the narrative gonna be in 4 years. But in case of SPX6900, it’s about the community showing up, as far as they do, no matter what narrative is in the hype, price of its token will rise 💹🧲. Time will tell, in 2013 bitcoin maxis also did not know if they were going to make it, they just had Belief..

I was under the impression that only miners receive compensation, nodes get nothing?
And it sounds like BTC needs to be minimum 750k to 1 mil for fees as the only reward to make any sense if transaction volume remains the same.

Trying to diversify a bit of money I got from a casino visit (not Sol). Gonna put some in the usual suspects, ETH and BTC. But would Hbar and Kas be interesting?

For a new crypto investor it is mentally easier to buy and hold if you don't buy at ATH peaks. But it's probably fine to invest in BTC anytime.

I think there's still some late cycle euphoria to come, prob from people rotating from BTC into alt coins potentially. That said, much of the inflows this cycle have been from institutions, doubt they're gonna YOLO everything on alt coins like retail has in past cycles.
Could just start dollar cost averaging at start to look on a 10 / 20 year horizon then you're not buying the tippy top on BTC and will end up with a decent average entry. Is what I'm doing any way, much less stressful.

Say you have $400 a month to invest, could put half that in each month so £200. Then if we dip to say 20% below the 56 week high you could double it up. EG put in the $400 + the extra $200 you've kept on the sidelines.

Just trade futures and only watch out for red folder news on forexfactory. You really only need to focus on 3-4 with futures, Nasdaq, S&P, Gold or Oil (Futures remember) and maybe a crypto like BTC, ETH, or SOL, the 3rd or 4th is a wildcard and only traded if everything else is booty, but between NQ, ES, AU, and COl, you should find a setup.

At the start of BTC we never had hardware wallets, segwit or BTC ETFs. We are past that stage

Of course it's not too late. Because over a decade ago, when BTC was only $10,000, people were already asking this question.
From the perspective of that time, that price was already extremely high.

This will be an unpopular opinion but look at the BNB chart. It's been almost as good as BTC and set numerous new ATH's the past few weeks. People here hate it, but I'm just the messenger. I am glad I've held BNB since 2017. But people refuse to even mention it. Imagine what it will do when they actually start talking about it?!

>You must cant read to well.
I can read & write.
I'm trying to say that alts don't define themselves by "outside the top 20". Alt season includes everything but BTC & you don't get to exclude the top 20.

Very extreme, downplaying to make BTC better. It's similar to most cryptocurrencies. Most crypto folks use the same code.

I listened to the video and also was mislead into thinking the title mentioning "crypto" was referring to assets like BTC and ETH. What they are talking about is tokenising USD debt into stable coins and then devaluing these stable coins. I don't know conceptually how this would work because creating more of them is no different to the Fed printing USD. Instead, it seems that they're saying that the stablecoin would be halved in value somehow so $1 is worth less than one stable coin. To pull that off, I would have thought it wouldn't be a stable coin but rather a token like Trumpcoin.... Now there's a scary thought...
