What if Solana goes up by 50% in a year and also has an inflation of 4.22%.
While BNB goes up by 50% but has a negative inflation.
Solana's market cap then grows more than BNB's because of its higher inflation rate. That's my point.

Solana is evolving, I agree. But in my opinion, it’s a bit slow and not very diverse. For example, BNB Chain has major updates for its speed over the past year and planned more, while Solana has basically had no major innovations at the blockchain level for several years. Still, I’m really glad that an update is coming. What’s a bit disappointing in Solana is the way DEXes and other stuff treat developers - there’s very little documentation, and even the official Python library is clunky, so you end up having to rewrite a lot yourself and idk they already prepared for that 150ms blocks or no :D Again, maybe this is because Solana is still relatively new, while other networks have more history and therefore more support...
