BNB (binance coin). Not that I have anything against it, it’s just that my budget is tight and BNB is quite expensive. I would rather add that money to get more BTC, ETH, SOL, or AAVE.
Also Dogecoin. Its time will be over soon.
I couldn’t get into HBar or TRON either (yet?)

I also don't see much upside with BNB, and it feels way too tied to Binance. If anything happens to the exchange, the coin is going down with it.

Nah. I first got into crypto with doge and then forgot about it for about a decade. Then it turned out my doge was worth a lot and I sold that stupid shit and thought I should actually learn a bit about the crypto market. After researching, I decided Solana was my ride or die so I put about 80% of my crypto in it and spread the rest out between BTC, BNB and ETH, with a sliver leftover for random crap.

Looking at the BTC dominance chart, you'd think it would be here by now. Last time Bitcoin dominance was at these levels Vechain was already at 9 cents.
Liquidity cycle generally goes BTC ---> Etherium --> Large Caps --> All othe caps.
Bitcoin had most of its run, Etherium making moves and then you have things BNB going for runs.
Then you also have things like LTC at their Decemeber, 2024 highs while things like VET are snail crawling off their lows. Huge spread in the market.
My speculative guess is that we see things wrapped up by EOY.

I get this error message, when i want to sign the transfer of my BNB from the old beacon chain to the new smart chain. I use a ledger nano s Plus. I never had any usb connection issues whatsoever. Only when trying to do this specific thing. Can anybody help?

Like others have said, stick to the top 25, maybe 50 Cryptos by market cap. Strong ones are LINK ETH SOL XRP ADA XLM BNB and of course BTC. I know i missed a few, but diversity is important especially when investing in Crypto.

Eth developer community absolutely dwarfs BNB, Sol, and all other crypto projects. I look at developer surveys & Github reports.

BNB by far the strongest coin in the entire market
does well when times are good

If somebody sent you these coins either as payment or "investement profits" on the BNB chain the coin is probably a scam. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

It’s under BNB smart chain

Can someone explain to me, like I am a child, how I can my SBBTC turned into cash i my bank account? I do not deal in crypto and my brain is fried.
I think I need to swap it for something else, but everything I try, I never have a sufficient balance. I have tried youtube, reddit, and support. This is clearly a language I do not speak. Y'all GENIUSES!
1. Do I need to purchase anything first to cover fees? For example, "You need to add $1.06 in BNB on BNB (Binance Smart) Chain to complete this transaction". How do I do this and where?
2. Once I add this $$? Do I have to go to Coinbase and then transfer/send to Base?
I just keep getting stuck in a loop and feel like I can't do step A because it requires step B, but B requires A.

I feel the same way but most digital currencies will end up being deployed across multiple blockchains. Take Tether, for example, it's already on Tron, Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Solana, and others. I think the bulk of it will ultimately settle on Ethereum since that's where most of the digital finance ecosystem lives. They'll likely allocate some to other chains too, especially if one gains strong traction in the EU.
