I have never touched anything like this before and like an idiot I blindly swapped a token into USDT on the BNB network because at the time it looked good due to no fees. It's sitting in my uniswap wallet and transferring/selling/swapping all now require BNB. I'm in Canada meaning from what I can tell across multiple apps is I can't buy BNB. But I also can't do anything with the money USDT to fix this. Am I just fucked? Feel free to roast me lol

Markets are still down, and I usually follow a DCA strategy but I’m honestly torn right now.
On one hand, I don’t want to miss a rebound if things turn around quickly. On the other, it still feels like we could see more downside, and I don’t want to buy in too early and watch it drop further.
Anyone else in the same boat? 👀 Curious how others are playing this are you still buying regularly, waiting it out, or watching specific indicators?
FYI - this is my portfolio.

For the people learning crypto currency, don’t make the same mistakes I made roughly five years ago.
Roughly five years ago (just after COVID) when meme coins were going crazy I got into a few holds and would wait for the coins to go to the moon. SafeMoon was one of my bets that paid out pretty decently. During that time I was using MetaMask, Brave, Base, Binance, and made all trades on PancakeSwap.
At the time I had withdrawn a majority of the money to help pay for college expenses. I converted some of the meme coins back into what I thought was BNB coins. At the time they were roughly $10 a coin.
Fast forward to today and I realize that my MetaMask is still logged in on my new computer and I somehow remembered the password to it. What do I see when I open it up? Roughly 5.2 BNB sitting there, showing value of just under four thousand dollars.
Here’s where the fun begins. I’m happy because I’m thinking I made a decent hold and since I haven’t touched the markets since that time I felt like a genius for not looking at it for all this time.
Naturally I think, “I’ve held it long enough and made a significant gain, yes it’ll probably keep growing but not in the same percentage it has already. Might as well sell or transfer to another coin.”
When I go to transfer my BNB wallet is empty in MetaMask. Then I look at what I’ve done almost five years ago. I managed, without knowing the difference at the time, to swap my USDT to Binance Smartchain Testnet.
Looking for my other wallets I realized, since I hadn’t thought about them in years, that any other assets I’ve acquired are gone because I got rid of my written down seed phrases when I cleared out my garage of all of my old notebooks they would be in.
I also made a switch from Android to iOS around a year after my SafeMoon experience. So any passkeys I had saved on Brave are now gone.
For all the new comers out there that have the possibility to share my experience, remember two things.
1.) Take the time to learn exactly what coins you’re moving around, you can end up with something worthless such as myself.
2.) Do not store your wallets seed phrases somewhere that you might forget about them or loose them.
I know these rules are very well established throughout Crypto exchanges, groups, and communities now. But if I can save one person from making my mistakes by writing this, it’s worth stating again. Luckily I don’t miss the money I put into it but it sure would have been cool to turn $40 to $4000.

If it came to that, I could sell computer equipment, cars, silver coins, etc. Cancel all streaming subscriptions. Go find a job out of my field if needed. There are a lot of options. BNB is still above it's 2021 ATH, and I'll sell that before I sell ETH.

I had a similar strategy though "safer" in that I only watch BNB price. If I feel like BNB is going to seesaw, I'll make a BNB/USD LP right above the current price so I only need to provide BNB. Sit on it for some time and exit when my position becomes out of range.
I'll end up with either BNB or USD at the other end. If I ended up with BNB, then nothing changed. If I ended up with USD, then the "sell" price is the mid-point of the range.

I make sure to have my range end up at 360+% APY so the math is easy in that I just need to make 1% per day in fees for the strategy to work.
I luck out wherein sometimes I also get tons of farm rewards (CAKE on Pancakeswap) and which I sell which then becomes most of my profits. Either I sell it or I just put in CAKE/BNB with the same strategy and earn some more BNB.

Hey everyone, I’m excited to share my journey and host this AMA to help others understand memecoin trading better. Wishing you all a great summer.
I started trading altcoins in 2020, focusing on spot and some futures mainlyy with BNB, ETH, and BTC. In 2023–2024, I shifted entirely to NFTs during their massive boom, where it was relatively easy to make 2–5x returns by grinding for whitelist spots on new Discord servers.
Fast forward to last year, I dove into memecoins Pumpfuns (Bonks now too). Initially, I lost some NFT profits because I was clueless, but within a few weeks, I gained valuable experience. The game changer was hiring a developer to create a custom X tracker and sniper bot, allowing me to move faster than manual traders and spot trends more effectively.
This transformed my life xdd. Now, I can travel anywhere, and as a young, disciplined trader, I’m focused on growing my portfolio further and connecting with others in this space.
Ask me anything!

This one? Looks like it's a honeypot (Bottom right hand side - scroll down).
Please learn how to use sites like GECKO, DEXTOOLS, etc BEFORE buying into tokens ESPECIALLY on SOLANA, BASE, BNB, etc.

Noone gives you anything for free. If they do, its likely a scam.
That said: you can buy some BNB and hold it into binance launchpad. There are some airdrops periodically. However... They are not worth shit.
