Yea but BNB is fully controlled by Binance and they could "print" more whenever they want. Just look at what Crypto(.)com did with its CRO Coin...

True, CEXs have burned many not your keys, not your crypto. But let’s be real: BTC built the trust, BNB built the ecosystem. 🔐🔥 Decentralization is the goal, but smart moves need both sides

tldr; Biotech firm Windtree Therapeutics plans to purchase up to $700 million worth of BNB cryptocurrency after the asset hit an all-time high. The company is raising $520 million through equity lines and stock-purchase agreements to fund the acquisition, partnering with Kraken for custody. Windtree's CEO emphasized the strategic importance of the move. BNB, launched by Binance, recently reached $808 before dipping. This aligns with a trend of companies building crypto treasuries, following pioneers like MicroStrategy.

Why Is Kraken So Expensive? Just Paid £4.95 + £0.95 in Fees on a £100 Buy – Coming from Binance, This Feels Like a Rip-Off!
New to Kraken here, and I'm kinda baffled by the fees. I usually stick with Binance because their fees are super low – like, maker/taker fees starting at 0.1% and going down with volume or BNB use. But I decided to test out Kraken with a small £100 buy (in GBP, since I'm in the UK), and bam, I got hit with £4.95 in what I think is a payment processing fee plus another £0.95 in trading fees. That's almost 6% total! For such a small amount, it feels excessive compared to Binance, where I'd pay way less for the same trade.
Is this normal for Kraken? From what I've read, their fee structure includes variable trading fees (0.16% maker/0.26% taker for low-volume users) plus extra costs for fiat deposits or card purchases, which can add up quickly for smaller transactions. They seem to prioritize security and regulation, especially in places like the EU/UK, which might explain the higher costs versus more "wild west" exchanges like Binance. But still, why so pricey for noobs like me just dipping a toe in?
Also, hoping the community can help: How can I lower my fees on Kraken going forward? I've seen tips like using bank transfers instead of cards to avoid those hefty processing fees, trading higher volumes to drop into lower fee tiers, or maybe using their Pro platform for better rates. Any other hacks, like specific payment methods for UK users or loyalty programs? Would love advice to make this workable, 'cause I like Kraken's rep for being legit, but these fees are a buzzkill.
Thanks in advance – let's help out future members avoid the same sticker shock! What's your experience been?
TL;DR: Kraken fees stung me on a £100 buy; Binance is cheaper. Why the difference, and how to minimize costs on Kraken?

So you're looking to bridge USDT or USDC from BNB Chain to Solana? Wanchain seems like a solid choice. I’ve used their bridges before and they’re pretty reliable. Just make sure you understand the fees involved; they can add up, especially if you’re doing small transfers.
One thing to consider: have you looked at Wormhole or Sollet for other options? They might offer better rates depending on the amount you're moving. Always good to shop around a bit and compare.
If you run into any issues, the Wanchain docs are actually pretty decent. But honestly, if you’re new to this, take your time and double-check everything. It’s easy to make a costly mistake when you’re in a rush. Good luck!

I know it sometimes feels like that but if you zoom out you'll see BTC is up massively over the last few months, and a few alts, like XRP and BNB, even hit new ATHs in the last 7 days.

Pretty much the same. USDC is the default “currency” on Coinbase and I believe USDT is used more on Binance and sent via the BNB network.

tldr; Circle has introduced its yield-bearing USYC stablecoin as off-exchange collateral on Binance, marking the first major exchange integration of a tokenized Treasury fund for derivatives trading. This partnership allows institutions to earn yield while using USYC as margin, addressing demand for liquidity and returns. USYC, backed by short-duration Treasuries, is natively issued on BNB Chain, enhancing settlement speed and integration. The move positions Binance to attract institutional liquidity and adapt to the growing adoption of tokenized Treasury products.
