Bitcoin was supposed to be P2P cash, but the small block sizes ended that. No one is going to use BTC for day to day transactions with the super slow confirmation times and excessive Tx fees.
There are so many better options for P2P cash, if you were interested in using P2P cash IRL you'd be talking about $XNO $XMR $LTC $DASH $BCH etc
Lighting Network is to difficult and not scalable when setting up your own channels, if your using a custodial lighting wallet then you may as well be using a bank, defeats the purpose of Bitcoin.

Gotta keep p2p cash goal and the culture higher than gains in your value pyramid. BCH has already demonstrated to kick a rouge dev teams butt.
Supporting multiple implementation and dev teams makes them much more resilient against such attacks. And in the end the last resort is always open: You fork away from them.

I mean, this small sub is unquestionably dominated by the pro BCH anti BTC minority crowd. Exactly llike yourself. That's not arguable, it's a fact. We can see it in every post, every vote, every comment, the subs logo, and so on. Go check the history of any of the "Top 1% Commenters", like yours. Just read this posts comments. Even a monkey could figure out the subs true (yet suspiciously obfuscated) intentions in mere minutes.
Also, this sub only pushes but one single opinion, one single narrative - it's the exact same thing, over and over and over, ad nauseam. Opposing opinions are simply shit all over - it's an extremely hostile environment, if you don't fall in line anyway. This biased one-sided sub is quite literally the poster boy for the definition of an echo chamber. No question about that.
These are the undeniable facts. As you should be well aware. It is what is probably is, as we can all easily see and verify for ourselves.

Binance is known for its fractional reserves.
What they did with Monero, they are still doing with BCH.

Incredible with the amount of mental gymnastics here.
Bitcoin, with a $2T market cap, has much, much lower upside room that small cap coins. Hell, the entire reason that many people skip on Bitcoin and put money into alternative cryptos is because they feel like they missed the boat and want to 10, 100, or 1000x their money on a smaller coin that actually has room to grow.
The amount of other coins that try to co-opt Satoshi's vision and tell everyone that **they know what he wanted in the long run** is insane. BCH, BTC SV, and now obviously OP.

Something something with that senator Bentsen quote "I knew Satoshi, poster, you're no Satoshi Nakamoto."

Ok, I will remind you of this in time :)

Oh you poor little troll having to come up with shit just say you don't like BCH.
Let me explain it to you: Take the best of XMR and BTC and put it into one coin, that's BCH.

As the others have stated, highly unlikely. But you are free to try. There are merchants around that accept 0-conf BCH. I think even one of the BCH dexes accept 0-conf, but I'm not sure.

Market activity reveals a stark contrast in BCH liquidity. While Binance reports high volume, even modest buy orders on Coinbase triggered a significant price surge from $350 to $485. Simultaneously, Binance's BCH loan rates have spiked to an alarming 12%.

It is extremely unlikely that you manage to do this. Peter Rizun did some research into this and his sumery was after just 3 seconds the chance of a double spend succeeding is zero. The same is basically said by the guy in the video. Millions of transactions not a single double spend. Additionally BCH has a "first seen" rule that and introduced Double spend proofs.

Nope, for p2p cash, try xrm. For preserving purchasing power, then btc. BCH might fit in there somewhere, but i struggle to use it in any meaningful way.

Does 0-conf still work if someone cheeky sends the same UTXO to two different BCH addresses by creating two different transactions and sending those transactions to two different nodes (one TX per node) at the same time?

0-conf. BTC had it too, until they killed it. BCH expanded on it and made it safer. It is good for everyday purchases.

BCH I haven't heard mentioned in years....
Yes, you're safer just doing BTC than any of the alts. I'll let people fight in the comments about if ETH is an alt.
