Badger is an ecosystem DAO with the purpose of building products and infrastructure to accelerate Bitcoin as collateral across blockchains. Badger DAO enables users to earn yields on wrapped Bitcoin tokens via staking vaults with automated yield and re-investment strategies. Badger is built as a decentralized application on top of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and it uses open source smart contracts and language to offer targeted asset management products within the Ethereum ecosystem. Because it is built within an EVM environment, Badger DAO is positioned to scale on top of EVM compatible scaling and layer 2 solutions. The Badger application is currently running on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon (MATIC) and Arbitrum. Badger had several audits completed for its tailored "Sett" smart contracts, which can be understood as pooled assets executing unique yield strategies that also have native security standards for protection against vulnerabilites. Setts represent Badger DAO's key service offering; single-strategy crypto asset pools with native and non-native yields. The Sett smart contracts have automated fee structures that are charged when users exit particular pools. These fees accrue to the Badger treasury on an ongoing basis.
