I stake on the Core app and have for quite some time. 25 AVAX minimum, but I have multiple 3 month stakes always coming due every week. Depending on price action, you will always have some liquidity to sell.
42 AVAX commit gets you approximately 0.6 AVAX reward after 3 months.
I do 3 month and then advanced setup. Tell it to return results with >98% uptime and <2% fees. Look for a validator with skin in the game and commit. Easy.
Also interested in hearing other options, however…

It depends on how quickly you may need the liquidity and how long your investing horizon is. If you think you may need the cash within a period of time quicker than the unstaking window, then you shouldn't stake that much. But if you have excess cash you're looking to invest in the long-term trend that AVAX will thrive in the Wev 3.0 world that's about to explode (this is my opinion), then yes you should stake as much as you are comfortable with since you earn a solid return in AVAX (and an even better return in USD if AVAX goes up).

You thinking I should sell out of AVAX/Pepe? I’ve had both since like October and don’t really pay much attention to them.

Used to stake on Cosmos, now exploring Avalanche.
Found Lingo on Solana/Base, cool idea with raffles and rewards.
Anything similar running on AVAX right now? Would appreciate any tips.

I've been an on and off crypto investor since 2017. The thing that has kept me out of the space for a while (since the 2021 NFT boom/crash) is that the use cases for NFTs have been pretty dumb to be honest. The idea of profile pic NFTs were cool at first but quickly fizzled out. There's a gaming usecase that's exciting, but what has been missing is real-world use cases providing real-world economic gains at scale. I think that time has finally come.
Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization will be the next big megatrend and the catalyst will be US stabelcoin legislation. The GENIUS Act already passed in the Senate 68-30 last month, so its clearly accepted as a bipartisan issue. Congress has "crypto week" next week to finalize some od the concerns and ensure it passes in the House as well before being signed into law. The US government's main reason to support USD stabelcoins is that it ensures the USD stays relevant globally during the shift toward a Web 3.0 economy. Once stablecoin legislation is signed into law, it will open the floodgates for trillions of dollars of real-world assets to be brought on chain. Said differently, this is the beginning of the legitimization of asset ownership and transfers across the blockchain.
Follow the breadcrumbs over the past 15 years...Bitcoin proved the blockchain works for fungible cryptocurrency, Ethereum and smart contracts proved it works for NFTs and smart contracts. Now we're on to the next phase - tokenization of conceivably all assets of significant financial value. Why is this useful? Well, the blockchain is becoming the next iteration of the internet...with all of the interoperability between chains, assets will flow through the blockchain in a decentralized because of the efficiency that it adds to society. Imagine if the deed to your house were on the blockchain. When you go to sell it, there would zero debate over who has claim to it. No need for drawn out title searches - just a quick search in a distributed ledger woukd quickly show you own it. And when the sale is complete, the smart contract transfers the NFT of the deed to the buyer. Today there is a drawn out process of searching county clerks database and ensuring there are no open liens on property. A similar process applies to car titles and the DMV. This will be solved with instant finality on the blockchain.
Avalanche understands that this is the next wave of the big boys coming in and their blockchain is quickly becoming one the most widely accepted by large institutions for this type of RWA tokenization. Two prime examples: California DMV tokenizing all 42 million vehicles registered in the state and putting them onto their own Avalanche L1. As far as real estate, Balcony Technology Group is working with Bergen County, New Jersey to put $240 billion worth of real estate deeds onto their own Avalanche L1 over the next 5 years.
This is just the beginning. The fact that Avalanche offers entities the ability to set the governance of their own L1s will be a perfect use case for the RWA tokenization megetrend. Don't worry that AVAX is down YTD - the world is just now waking up to whats about to unfold. Buy the dip and let it grow exponentially through the next megatrend that's just now kicking off!

Just looking for advice into how y’all buy cryptocurrency me personally I’m adding $1.50 into each BTC + ETH into my fidelity crypto account and I’m adding $1 each into SOL + XRP + ADA into my robinhood account so pretty much a large cup of coffee into crypto everyday for the foreseeable future, just looking how y’all DCA, do you just add larger amounts per paycheck and just buy that day or do you actually watch the volume and levels to try to buy a cheaper prices, me I figured I’ll just do the daily adds to kinda keep that rhythm of being in the market but also I’ve considered just adding once per paycheck and call that good also do anyone here think I should add other crypto like LINK, AVAX, as well or just keep it flowing into the 5 listed before which trump said he will hold in a crypto reserve? Any advice is appreciated

I think if we go into the "banana zone" (which may have started now), Avax is going to be the coin everyone is going to run back to because how cheap it is. I could see it run back up to $100 this cycle. When BTC goes crazy high, it's all going to trickle back down to the alts and these old school coins will rip, especially AVAX. (Not financial advice :))

I’m on board with this. Have a TON of AVAX since 2021. Rode to 140, never sold, and all the way back down to here. $200 per is likely my floor as well before I sell. We may be waiting until 2027 but we’ll see. Way too much momentum for this to not fly at some point. Plus Emin is the smartest guy in the space.

I asked chatGPT which coins to buy to get rich..
This is what it said:
Higher Risk, Higher Reward (Moonshot Potential)
These coins can 10x or crash to zero. Do your own deep research before investing.
1. $INJ (Injective)
• Focused on decentralized finance (DeFi) and derivatives.
• Strong backers and innovative tech.
2. $RUNE (THORChain)
• Enables cross-chain swaps with no centralized exchange.
• Huge utility if it catches on.
3. $JUP (Jupiter on Solana)
• Solana ecosystem’s DEX aggregator.
• Good positioning if Solana keeps growing.
⸻
💎 Established Projects with Growth Potential
Safer than moonshots, but still risky — think 2x to 5x returns in a bull run.
1. $SOL (Solana)
• Cheap, fast, developer-friendly.
• Has a growing DeFi, NFT, and meme coin ecosystem.
2. $AVAX (Avalanche)
• High-speed layer 1 with big institutional partnerships.
• Used in tokenization and gaming projects.
3. $LINK (Chainlink)
• Oracle network powering data for DeFi.
• Low hype currently = potential upside.

Same. I've been accumulating since 2021. Even after Terra Luna, FTX, and Celsius. It's been challenging watching the project chop sideways while everything else goes up, AVAX is doing big things. Look at everything in summary that they done. They're building and growing silently. I know it's a challenge, but I would look at it as an opportunity to buy more with the right hand while everyone else is watching what the left hand (SOL, XRP, etc.) is doing. AVAX is quietly succeeding while the focus is on other tokens that aren't doing much, but are just talked about more. AVAX is an incredible project and it will surpass most other projects because of what it has already accomplished, not what it's promising. Tortoise always beats the hare.
Hope these re-establish your faith:

I bought 20k AVAX at 55$. Wait for FIFA and adoption. No one can convince me to sell my AVAX before 200$, if I sell what will I do? I enjoy my staking rewards now, not much, but nice to see to have 2-3 extra AVAX everyday. My mind thinks in this way, today I am getting 2-3 AVAX everyday that I will be selling at 200$, today I am making good money.

That's why you should realize profit as much as possible. In the last bull market I made a good investment on AVAX when it was at $20, cashed out my investment at $40 (could have earned more if I waited till $100) and left the rest staking. The tokens are still there and usually I re-stake the tokens after every epoch.
Of course it sucks when it crashed 80%/90% alongside the rest of the market but it's so much easier to control your emotions when you know you already got your investment back and are playing with essentially "free money".
