'Halftime Report' Traders Share Their Thoughts On Semiconductor Stocks

On CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report," traders commented on bullish analyst calls on Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) and QUALCOMM, Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM).

Stephanie Link thinks momentum is going to continue for Advanced Micro Devices and in this kind of environment, this is a stock she wants to own.

Jon Najarian doesn't own these stocks, but he would love to own them, especially Qualcomm. He thinks he probably won't be able to buy them on a pullback, so he would have to step up and buy them.

Meghan Shue likes the technology and chip stocks and she sees a strong driver in 5G. The improving auto demand could also benefit the chip sector.

Joe Terranova missed the move in VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF (NYSE:SMH). He thinks Link is well-positioned in Advanced Micro Devices and he also believes that Teradyne, Inc. (NASDAQ:TER) is going to $100, but he doesn't own the stock.
