10:01 Monday, November 1, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (CMTL) confirmed it received an unsolicited, non-binding proposal from Acacia Research Corporation (ACTG). The company said its Board of Directors is evaluating the proposal in consultation with independent advisors. Comtech noted that no stockholder action is required currently.

Headquartered in Melville, New York, Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is a global provider of next-generation 911 emergency systems and secure wireless communications technologies to commercial and government customers around the world.

Shares of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. were up 14% on Monday.
