* Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) - A sympathy play ahead of earnings out of peer in the chip space, Intel (INTC). Intel will report quarterly results after market close on Thursday.

* Ford (F) - Named Benzinga's "Chart of the Day" on Wednesday by Benzinga's own Mark Putrino, of the Benzinga Trading School.

* Pinterest (PINS) - Shares rallied about 13% on Wednesday following a Bloomberg report PayPal (PYPL) is exploring the purchase of Pinterest. PayPal shares closed 5% lower on the report.

* Xiaobai Maimai (HX) - One of the most momentous stocks of this week. The stock was the third most-searched ticker on Benzinga Pro over the last 24 hours, behind Tesla (TSLA) and Pinterest. After the stock closed up nearly 100% on Wednesday, shares were up another 20% Thursday morning. The Benzinga newsdesk did not see company news to justify the move higher.
