Marrone Bio Innovations (NASDAQ:MBII) has announced the formation of a strategic alliance in South America with Rizobacter, a subsidiary of Bioceres Solutions Inc. (NYSE:BIOX) and Pro Farm to merge the technology of Rizobacter and Marrone Bio Innovations.

Bioceres is an established supplier of biostimulants and biopesticides in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. It will use biologicals to improve plant health and to increase yields.
