On September 21, 2020, Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG ("Vinnolit"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westlake Chemical Corporation, issued a press release announcing it has initiated consultations with the works council regarding the closure of its paste PVC plant in Schkopau, Germany and anticipated accounting charges associated with the closure.
