As recently as on Dec. 22, AMCI Acquisition Corp. and Advent Technologies Inc. announced that institutional investors, including certain funds managed by affiliates of BNP Paribas, have committed to a private investment of $65 million in the form of 6.5 million shares of common stock of the combined company at a price of $10.00 per share, which will close concurrently with the previously announced proposed business combination between Advent and AMCI.
